I love Georgia Bank in Griffin Georgia. Gary and Betty are very friendly people always willing to help. Derricka is a wonderful woman, willing to help also. When I need to go to the bank, I always look forward to seeing my excellent helpers. God Bless them.

Good luck if you’re doing a home equity loan with this company. They will sold your loan to another company without giving you a courtesy phone call to notify you or even send you a registered mail to make you aware of any account changes. GBC Customer service doesn’t care whatsoever.

I would not recommend.
The escrow department is completely inept in doing their job. I have to call every year to get my insurance paid. Insurance is the only thing they have to do, once a year, and cannot manage to that.
At this point they are over a month late on the last third of the payment.
I don't know how they are still open, with this lack of professionalism.

GBC was my loan servicer for approx 6 weeks. I made 2 payments before they sold it to yet another servicing company. They applied BOTH payments, 4 weeks apart, to the SAME payment date, and never told me. Never sent a final statement or anything. So when the NEW servicer comes looking for LAST MONTHs payment, GUESS who says I PAID TOO EARLY? GBC said That they don’t need to send that money to the New Servicer….

GBC is not used to people paying their bills on time, let alone early. GBC is TRASH and should be audited. Do NOT do business with them, unless you make late payments, in which case, have it ‘em.

If you don’t give 2 squats about paying back your loan, THIS PLACE WANTS YOU.

Chris McNeil and Charlotte Harden have personally taken care of my every needs since I became a customer at Georgia Banking Company. Even though its a "small" bank when compared to the other "guys". Georgia Banking Company really comes through when it comes not only to customer service and support, but they really make you feel like family. They are quick to respond to your individual needs and really make you feel valued. The bank it's self is also really easy to access and their rates and returns on are by far the best I have seen in sometime. I would highly recommend banking with Georgia Banking Company and would further recommend reaching out to either Chris or Charlotte so they can provide you with the outstanding service I have received since I have been with them.

DATA SECURITY BREACH: NO DATA SECURITY AND INACCURATE CREDIT REPORTING

Georgia Banking Company’s poorly managed data security resulted in my credit information being compromised by a phishing attack.

Additionally, I have been a victim of their inaccurate credit reporting. They inaccurately reported me 30 days late despite recognizing that I submitted my payment prior to the 30 day mark.

I recommend that you take your business to a better equipped financial institution that will take your personal information and credit history seriously.
