Our daily lives got hectic after an interior water line broke and leaked through our kitchen and living room. The ceilings came partially down in both rooms. Water was everywhere.
I didn’t know if any of it was covered on my Grange homeowners insurance before I called. It was a Sunday so I figured I’d leave a message. Within an hour I got a return call from Janet Mackiewicz. It was at that point it was like I weight was lifted off my shoulders.
Janet and my adjuster, Dominic Donatucci took over and made us whole!
They arranged the remediation company to come in and dry everything out. After that I got a quote from my construction company and Dominic’s estimate was in the ballpark.
I can’t thank Grange insurance, Janet and Dominic enough for the guidance and help they gave to get us through this!

During a very stressful time dealing with a basement flood, I was expecting to have an even more difficult time with the insurance adjuster on getting a fair settlement due to past experiences with other companies. This was quite the opposite with David from Grange. He was very empathetic to my situation and could relate personally. He put me at ease and indicated that is not Granges way of doing business. We discussed my situation and came to a joint fair assessment that helped bring me whole. His communication was great in explaining that I was not going to have to come out of pocket upfront with a big deductible which was one of my biggest fears. If you are considering another home owners insurance company, I would recommend Grange because of this experience and they are one of the few that offers a water line backup endorsement which is needed for basement flooding. My advice is to make sure you have enough coverage. I luckily did at $10000 but have since increased it to their max of $50000. David from Ohio

Grange is always a great trusted entity I can count on when it comes to my insurance needs. Recently went through a car repair and rental and Lauren R. wonderfully provided the assistance I needed. Grange did a quick and swifty job of getting a adjuster out to my house after filing a claim on my roof. Chris P did an amazing job at listening to all my concerns and taking his time to exam each one of them. Most importantly I got the coverage to get what was needed replaced fixed. Without warning, notice, or any kind of indication, my vehicle insurance rates jumped by over $550 from one year to the next. I had no accidents, still have a clean driving record, and made no changes to the vehicle, my coverage, driving habits, or job. Yet they raised my rates from around $1,700 to over $2,300. Sure, I’d understand a minor increase year to year, but this is just ridiculous. The sad truth is, I’ve been loyal to Grange for years. It’s time to move on and not look back.

Recently had an accident where I was hit and needed repairs. Grange… and specifically Kelly, the claims adjuster, were fantastic. The process was easy, the use of the app was great in initially filing, the adjuster kept me informed during the process, and the repairs were made timely. It truly couldn’t have been easier. You never know how good your insurance is, until you actually need it. Highly recommend!

My claims experience with Grange has been nothing short of a nightmare. I was rear ended with my two babies in the car by a Grange insured. They assured they would help me get my claim paid for and make me whole again. My claims adjuster Brandon is refusing to pay necessary costs to restore me to where I was prior. I have called multiple body shops around my city to find out what is industry standard for recalibration of my car and they are paying less than 50% of what is needed. I am a struggling mom who cannot afford to get my car back because they are making me pay out of pocket costs and will not restore me back to industry standards. I have called and called my adjuster and he has not helped me at all. He keeps saying there is nothing he can do when I know this is not that case, having working for an insurance company in the past. I have no business paying out of pocket for something that is not my fault. This has been a horrible experience. I would hope no other person has to work with a company so terrible ever again.
