Their mobile check deposit cant read when it asks you to write for "gb mobile deposit use only" So it will take 12 pictures to get it to deposit. Then even after calling and having them authorize your employer they will still hold your check for several days. They have no active customer service on the weekends or president's day to help you get your much needed money (bills don't care and groceries can't wait but your bank sure can) honestly the issues I've had within the first several weeks make me want to find anouther bank. My advice. Unless you area a saint or have the patients of one. Don't bank here. DO NOT.

I would give them a 10 but you don't have a star for that. Every time I have entered this branch these ladies have been so nice to me and so helpful. I've been coming here since 1993 and only this one and have never walked away without them helping me with whatever I ask them to never a rolling of the eyes once. If you know what I mean. This week I came in and Tauna ,helped me out with what I needed. And in the past so has Shelby , Davia I would recommend 👌 this branch to anyone who is looking for friendly helpful people and Compassionate too thank you for all of the years 😊

This BANK is so far from what a credit union should be. This is a shiesty bank with bad hours, bad locations, a glitchy gaudy app, and god-awful service. There is no sense of 'membership' or any sort of indication that this institution is anything more than a self serving diminutive Bank of America wannabe. They do not have your best interest at heart... but they do you have you assets in their pockets. These people are nothing more than impersonal, greedy, smiling crocodiles....

OSCAR Sucks at his job and will forget to put your info and wait for someone else to do it so if you get him. Tell him you want someone else to handle your loan.

They do not honor shared branch customers.

It’s very predatory behavior to get you through the door and make an account with them and pay their fees.

Don’t bank with this institution either you will end up regretting it.

I have had a good experience banking here. Everyone who works here is delightful and so helpful. However, I was charged a foreign transaction fee of $75 after buying airline tickets. The price was shown on the website in dollars. There was no way I could have known about the fee. They called me twice and put too holds on because of the high amount, but the people who called did not tell me about the fee. So even though there is no way to tell if something is a foreign transaction, it is possible to be charged a fee.

I've been with Great Basin for about 8 years now. Always paid my car and loan payments on time and never had any issues. Since Covid I've been struggling to say the least and ONE late payment was all it took for Great Basin to become the most scandalous people I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. ONE late payment for my car in 8 years and they have since charged me over $1000 in made up fees and now my entire paycheck, over $900 and are now ignoring my calls and putting me on hold if I call them. I would think being with them for so long and never asking for anything would make them willing to work with me but no, they instead decide to make a rough situation even worse by literally stealing every penny I had to my name. They don't even bother pretending they're not, they just steal everything right in front of you and then laugh, knowing there's nothing you can do about it.

I've been a customer with Great Basin since I was 17 and there's a reason why. I was away out of country and due to a SNAFU with an unexpected payment from the wrong account I went to do 9+ purchases without realizing I was in the red and caused overdraft charges for each payment. Given I only was checking my account every week or so I was pretty damn surprised to see myself hundreds negative in my account.

This was absolutely outside of my ability to pay, but after speaking to Patty, a senior transaction manager at Great Basin, she was able to reverse nearly all of them saving me literally hundreds of dollars without a problem at all.

This is one of so many things this bank has done to go above and beyond for their customers, where a credit union treats their members like members and not as fee victims for money vampires whose names rhyme with "Wells Fargo"

Plus if you lose your card they can make you a new one in the branch within minutes. How freaking cool is that!

Seriously, can't recommend them enough. Plan to stay with them as long as I'm in Nevada
