We rented a unit on 363 Newport Ave in Long Beach for $2850/month. After receiving the keys to move in and inspecting the unit we found mold, disgusting and rotting kitchen cabinets, glass sliding doors to the balcony falling apart, trash from previous tenants ... the smell was so gross I got nauseous after being inside for an hour. We refused to take the property and requested a cancellation of the lease. They refused at first but after a hard fight, the contract was cancelled and we were refunded.
The unit that was being rented to us for $2850 was relisted for $2450 and that's still too much in my opinion.
I would recommend to stay away from this company. The lack of care and standards is shocking!

My experience with this realtor company was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I started dealing with them, I was met with unprofessionalism at every turn. The most egregious issue was discovering that my unit shared the same lock with the unit directly across from me, which was occupied by a group of males. This is an unacceptable breach of security and basic safety standards.
I would strongly advise anyone considering working with this company to think twice. They do not care about their clients' safety or satisfaction, and their complete lack of communication and professionalism is appalling. Save yourself the trouble and find a company that actually values its clients

Harvest Realty is awesome! Amelie, who showed us the house answered all questions quickly, could even text her on the weekends and evening hours. Karis is also awesome, quick to respond or help with anything that comes up. Hopefully we can afford to buy sometime, but until then, we hope to stay with Harcest Realty Development.

These people are the reason they put instructions on soap. I have never seen people more oblivious and out of touch in my whole life. Apparently attaching a PDF to an email is like crossing the rubicon. We sent them our documents multiple times, more times than I could count. I basically had to walk them through the whole review process by email, which is literally their whole job, and they STILL got our documents lost. Their radio silence and consistently losing things costed us our chance to get a fair viewing of our application when we were more than qualified for the property in question.

It was clear that the “lost documents” excuse was a lie and they were just putting us on the backburner so that “better” applicants could show up (very common rent scam tactic in California). If it was a legitimate reason for the rejection that would have been one thing, but it clearly wasn’t. And they had the audacity to say it was OUR fault. It’s the dishonesty for me. And the lady I spoke to was so rude! Both on the phone and in email.

I am not interested in doing business with someone who doesn’t take me or my line of work seriously. Very unprofessional, incompetent behavior.

Never in my life have I experienced such fraud! They took my deposit and had me waiting for title just to find out the property is state owned that they cannot sell me the property. I find out 10 days after escrow is supposed to have closed! They had my deposit from Sept. and I have yet to receive it back.
