I don't recommend this place. First, I applied for a unit yesterday and went to their viewing today. They had multiple people there looking at the same unit, some had applied and some hadn't. Beware and read the reviews ,this place only collects your money for the application and won't ever really ever run your application. Beware that they also put the wrong address. The property that I applied for was actually 1239 E Florida st unit 1247, and they had the property address for rent as 1247 E. Florida st, not even the same at all( see below photo and compare on google maps ). Also, I told her that I do government contracts and due to proprietary information within the company I work for, if they needed to email HR ,they would need to actually call them first ( to prove that this is HR within the company I work for) to get an email address that is acceptable for opening outside links and emails. She said that the applicant is responsible for doing the " leg work" and that they wouldn't be responsible for it and would simply skip to the next applicant. I had already turned in all of my references and information,if you needed to verify it you would need to obviously call HR in order to do so. That's okay though because I make almost 6 figures alone ,have an 800 credit score,no smoking ,no pets ,and a stable rent and income history. I can be picky too !! The units they rent out also don't have basic things like a refrigerator or AC unit.

I should’ve read the reviews on this place before taking the time to go out and view one of their properties. There was a handful of other people waiting to view the property as well. I waited 30 minutes at the property and tried calling them but no answer and 23 call attempts. VERY unprofessional and inconsiderate, Especially when they schedule multiple people to go out and view a property and they don’t even show up, they should’ve been there before all of us came. Don’t waste your time on this management company, I can’t imagine what the current tenants have to deal with. The other big concern was the application fee practically being stolen from you since I’m reading other people experiences from paying for the application and never hearing back. Terrible company.

We applied for a small house to rent in Signal Hill. We sent all the info they asked us for and had paid for applications a few days prior viewing the house. They said we would hear from them soon. Days passed and nothing so my sister called, no answer. A few more days pass and nothing. My sister called and emailed…behold, no answer. We had a friend call to inquire about the house for rent and someone told him that it was already rented to someone else. We looked at the listing on Zillow and it’s still for rent. So, we think they are taking in as many applicants as possible to make easy money. It’s been 3 weeks and never heard from them.

UPDATE: my sister called them and they answered. The woman who helped her was apologetic and was explaining to my sister that they’re very understaffed and barely got through the applications.

I am a property owner and of all property management companies I have worked with, Heart Property Management Group was the worst one. Both owners, Cristina and Adrie have very poor communication and ignore calls/emails/texts. There are constant mistakes with basic property management tasks. Their employees are disorganized and incompetent. Once they secure your business with big promises, the level of commitment and professionalism exponentially decreases. They are a small company, lacking structure, and understaffed. Because they have not hired enough extra help, whenever there is a problem, nothing gets done until Cristina does it and it takes multiple reminders. They constantly made me feel like I am at fault when they are the ones making mistakes. I had to manage the property managers and I really wish I had left them sooner. They cost me valuable time and money, which completely defeats the purpose of hiring property managers.

I signed a few applications with heart property management and everyone there usually answers the phone and is very nice and helpful! They always answer any questions I have breaking it down for me if I don’t understand. Of course they are not going to “always” pick up on command but they have the times I called. Not quite sure why they have bad reviews? Lillie and Kauai did answer in the beginning but then didn’t reply for a whole week! And someone that answers at the front desk sorry I forgot her name lol have been super helpful and kind! Thank you!

Like some of the other reviews state, Heart Property gave me a chance when no one else would and even when my payment source backed out, they worked with me , still allowed me to move-in and allowed me to work out payment arrangements when times got rough. Kauai really went to bat for me in that regard and these reasons are why I give 4 stars. Of course nothing is perfect and there have been issues but that’s life. The property where I lived for 13+ months is like a big family. Families have issues, they’re not perfect but there are some people who live here, especially some of the older guys, who really lookout for all of us. My biggest deduction is for lack of communication by management, especially timely communication, but going forward it will hopefully change. Overall, I’m just really grateful and all my family is back east, but I’ve met some amazing people who I will consider family for life and I look forward to keeping in contact with them as I transition into the next phase of my life.

Thank you Heart Property for giving me a chance, it won’t be wasted or forgotten.

Terrible property management company. Very unprofessional. I have had 3 separate incidents regarding them adding random charges to my rent. No one responds to calls or texts until they are trying to retrieve money from you. The manager has also lied about contacting me regarding issues when she clearly did not and I have proof. Currently waiting for a response regarding the charges for my rent this month and it been over a week since I was able to get in contact with someone and was told I would hear back a couple days later. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I rented from this company for two years, paid on time every single month. When it was time for us to move out we left the apartment in perfect condition.

I unfortunately did not receive my deposit in the 21 days as promised, yet 30 days following due to my own efforts, not the company’s.
It is VERY difficult to get into contact with Heart Property seeing as they rarely answer the phone.

Just as most rental companies.
The employees are highly inconsiderate with response. It’s not worth the mental strain doing business with them.
