This is one of the most unprofessional encounters I have had in my life. Despite many attempts to fulfill their obligations for the rental application, and many emails and phone calls to check on the status, I received absolutely zero feedback from their office. How can a small business refuse to answer the phone and never reply to multiple emails? Horrible experience.

I don't know what they actually do in the office but returning phone calls is definitely not it.

If you are lucky enough that they pick up the phone, the receptionist seems to not have much information as she keeps saying "ill have to check on that" or "the property manager will call you"(which never happens).

I wish they would quit wasting peoples time.

They discriminate against disabled applicants, and are very rude on the phone. They will Stonewall applicants and pretend to call references, but really they just avoid renting to tennants with disabilities or Section 8.

Very Rude and unprofessional business practices with extremely high expectations. If you do not have a perfect credit score or meet all the excessive requirements, then consider yourself
"Not qualified" for any of their listings. They also had very poor customer service etiquette, almost like you're wasting their time. This company needs to be more professional with how they deal with potential renters and how they communicate verbally with people. Especially with people in such a small community.

Good luck ever getting a response to your application unless you offer several months up front or you make 4x+ the rent. Open income discrimination, they don't care if your rent is guaranteed, they just want people who make more than their employees to rent from them.

I just Googled "real estate income discrimination" and your company 100% fit the bill. You might want to contemplate that before the DRE and CRD decide to come around and start enforcing it at the cost of your license.

Not a professional property Management company.
They get your SSN and application but they don't show the property to you.
They don't respond to the phone calls and Emails politely. They are rude.
Customer Service has no meaning to them.
Do Not Trust them at all.
They don't follow the California laws, rules and regulations.
Racist and discrimination attitude is going on in this company very badly obviously.
1 ⭐ is the only option otherwise they deserve 0 or - minus rates...

Applied with them over a month ago. They called asking for more documentation which I provided and after that nothing. I would have appreciated a follow up even if our application wasn’t approved. Very disappointing.

Now look, I ain’t a huge fan of the way renting houses and landlords work in this country. But I did find IMS to be perhaps the best. No application fees, which is a plus. Catrina is also a regular local person, and not some overbearing corporate landlord. You can work with her and communicate easily. She’s super accommodating with pets, If you got em’. Property managers get a bad rap, and renting is a difficult and expensive thing, but It seems to me that Catrina understands this and tries to make it as people friendly as possible. Would totally rent from them again.
