The mobile app required to get a good driver discount was glitchy and after repeated calls with tech help and no help from Steve Maday I cancelled my policy. Three weeks later I still haven't received my refund. FYI the online help is non-existant and calling any of the 800 numbers left me on hold for as much as 40minutes multiple times.

UPDATE: Agency took ownership of the issue and provided a solution. I appreciate the quick response and taking ownership, very rare these days. Kelce was very professional and explained everything thoroughly.

Bound a home and auto policy with this agency. Just got a letter in the mail that I didn't qualify for the discounts they provided me and the premium is increasing.

I called in to ask why this is happening, of course I get the "We don't know but you can call the insurance company"

I'm a licensed insurance agent and this should not be happening. Of course customers want the lowest price, but you do it within your guidelines. Don't give discounts that customers don't qualify for. I will be filing a DOI complaint.

I've a commercial vehicle policy with geico.
Was on hold for 60 minutes to make a payment. I'm not exaggerating. See the as the screen shot I took and wrote on while waiting. After 60 minutes somebody answers and says they can't take payments nor are they able to take a note that I called to make a payment.

This is the same number geico expects us to make a claim.

Geico is not available after hours for commercial policy holders. I tried to reach then at 7:10pm the other day.

Prior to posting this review, I thought I'd call the agent who my negative review was going to hit. Upon calling, there was no answer.
HOLY TOLEDO! SO DIFFICULT TO MAKE A PAYMENT.
JUST IMAGINE THE DIFFICULTY OF GETTING A CLAIM FILED.

I'll definitely be shopping for another policy.

Update:
At the time of this issue, I did reach out to this office which is my agent. They answered the phone timely. And the lady was nice. I gave my credit card info for them to take my payment when the system was working. Yet it still didn't get paid.

Switched insurance carriers on 1/15.

THEN Geico CHARGED APPROXIAMATELY $400 as a cancellation fee on top of regular premium. Guess charging 10%of the annual policy rate for cancellation is acceptable.
I find it rediculous that they charge such a fee when geico wasn't providing the minimum customer service expected of an insurance company.
My intention is to pay the premium amount and reach for help on getting the cancellation fee waived from the department of insurance. The reasoning for getting it waived will be that they weren't providing minimum expected service.

Additional edit: reason given why they couldn't take my payment or even a note was their systems were down.

I was in a car accident nine days ago. In those nine days all GEICO associates, including James Price, my claims adjustor, have truly been beyond great. The customer service has been, at the very least, 10 out of 10. In this day and age when quality, communication skills and customer service seem to be on the decline, GEICO's associates have been very friendly, communicative, and responsive in ways I didn't expect. Thank you to all the GEICO associates that I emailed or spoke to. Your professionalism is world class.

The Customer service was really awesome. I talked with Christina and she was very nice and helpful throughout the phone call. This was my first time getting car insurance and she was so helpful and really helped me every step of the way. I even dropped the call at the end when everything was complete and she still called back which was really nice. The whole process was fast and smooth and I would definitely recommend Geico to my friends!

I had amazing service from Christie Cheshire. She was very patient and answered any questions I had. I had called around to several other companies and no one was a nice and caring as she was. Geico also gave me the best quote out of a few different places I called. I have had Geico in the past, I don't know why I left but I am so glad to be back with them again! They are great and they really care about getting you the best deal. I would recommend anyone to call and get a quote. Geico saved me over $500/ month for the same policy I had with the previous company. Thank you so much Christie!!
