The words of praise here don’t do justice to the experience I had with Jared Carlisle at Canopy Mortgage. I was frantically trying to move from Colorado to Alaska! I was having a hard time finding people who could help me achieve my dream. This is, unfortunately, the only way I can express the appreciation I have for Jared and the team he works with. Jared and his team were phenomenal!! He listened, the communication was effective and efficient. If I called he would text me, as the line rings, to let me know he needed 5 mins and would call me back or what ever. It was the kind of communication and open dialogue that made me feel safe and trusting. Which is everything when moving cross country, especially to Alaska!

I cannot count all the times Jared had put together rate sheets for me with various variables and never once made me feel like a pain in the behind. Jared was always open and honest with me, giving me examples of what I could/should expect with payments, costs, down payments - I mean the guy knows his stuff!!! It’s so refreshing to find someone who LOVES what they do, and does it!! Never once did I feel I wasn’t a priority or was asking to much. Jared was personable, understanding, considerate, available, kind, efficient, and truly had my best interest in mind when working with me. Jared worked a miracle!
My bank approved my loan and scheduled closing December 23, right before Christmas. 24 hours before signing, underwriting decided to disqualify a portion of my income and pulled my loan. My agent recommended calling Jared to see if he could salvage the deal. He had me pre-approved in 24 hours and closed my VA loan in 28 days...he even offered a lower rate! Without Jared I would not have closed on the house of my dreams. He is a true professional and unbelievably knowledgeable...wish I started the process with him from the start!
