I had a confusing issue with my auto insurance, and I was having trouble getting it resolved through the corporate Progressive options. I wanted to talk to a human in person to explain the situation. John was incredibly helpful, clarified the policy options, and got me a good rate. I would definitely recommend.

This branch of Progressive is unprofessional and not knowledgeable in insurance needs. While there are a few staff in office who answer the phone (not always, and if it goes to voicemail the voicemail is full and you can’t leave a message), they cannot help you. They simply take a message and tell you that John Thomas will call you back when he gets into office. I have been insured through John Thomas Progressive for a couple years and almost every time I have called I am informed that John Thomas does not come into office until after 1pm each day. They do not return calls in a timely manner, do not know protocols, and are not helpful.

I sold my vehicle and needed to cancel my policy with the vehicle that I no longer owned, and for some reason I was forced to come to the office to "sign a document" to cancel the policy instead of simply being able to cancel over the phone. This is quite unreasonable given the circumstances of the pandemic and how you are easily able to set up the policy over the phone and conduct every other aspect of business virtually, but I made the drive out to Doraville to do so. Three weeks later I was charged again and policy was not showing as cancelled, and I tried calling in again but was told I had to call back when "John" was in the office because the person that answered couldn't do anything about it. I'm highly disappointed that this is so challenging and that I'm still being forced to pay for a policy on a vehicle I no longer own, especially since setting up an account can be done over the phone in a matter of minutes, but simply cancelling the policy is such a complicated matter. I understand Progressive itself could be partially to blame, but this branch has also made it that much harder with a lack of assistance in the matter. I would steer clear of this branch and honestly Progressive at this point.

**Update: I contacted Progressive directly to resolve the issue and they were kind enough to handle it after I stated I was not receiving help from this agent after signing the policy cancellation documents, so the blame should go directly on this branch!

Very Rude People that work at this branch. I would not trust them for my insurance needs. You would be better going to someplace else for Progressive insurance.
