I Contacted Kari about selling a piece of property in her area. It was in the desert with a mobile home on it that was in rough shape. Supposedly she had a handyman go look at it and told me that it just needed some clean up and she would list it for $145K. I said great lets do that on June 1st. I was then told the handyman could start "next week" on June 9th. I then texted June 14th for an update. No response. I then texted on June 14...then the 19th for an update...she responded finally on June 19th and said she was out of town and just got back, the handy man could go out next week and do the work and we should be able to list it by the end of the week. She said she would touch base with me in the morning. Nothing. June 27th, how is the progress? Nothing. June 30th. I really need an update I would like to get the property listed. She sent me an email on July 10th saying that she would have to refer me to someone else, she was too busy to handle my property. I don't know if this is normal for her and her business, but I highly suggest that you make specific times and appointments for her to follow up, and if she misses any of those, move on to someone else. She could have been honest at any point in this and told me she was too busy and couldn't provide the services she was offering.

Update: Everything said about the property was true. I live out of state so I didn't know that was the condition. Which is why I hired a realtor to evaluate the property and report to me the condition and suggest a pathway to selling it. As detailed above specifically from my text conversations with Kari, I couldn't get a response, and was not given updated information about the listing or the handyman, other than "he can go out next week". The property condition was not relayed to me by Kari. I found that out later from a handyman I found on google that was willing to go out an take pictures. I suppose it is possible she just didn't want to have what she thought would be an uncomfortable conversation about the real condition of the property, except I came into this with no expectation. My mom passed away, it had been abandoned for a very long time, I was looking for someone to simply provide information. I suspect Kari is good at her job and was just busy, but it would serve her well to be willing to have very frank, honest discussions with clients. I wasted a month and a half.

signed a lease contract as a landlord,only for there service to screen clients, and they missplaced it loosing 2 weeks of finding a renter,then i myself found a renter and didnt get reimbursement for it ,and didnt realize that i was going to pay 8% for the lease contract that totaled almost 1000.00 for the year even though all they did was screen the client...lesson learned!!!!@
