My wife and I initially contacted Jacob to inquire about Long-Term Care Insurance, but it turned out to not fit our financial situation. Jacob offered an alternative option in the form of an annuity with a long-term care doubling feature that worked perfectly for us. We did not even know such an option existed. Jacob was extremely knowledgeable, patient (explained certain aspects 3 or 4 times until we fully understood), super friendly and easy to work with, and was NOT pushy in any way, but simply explained our available options and allowed us to make our informed decision. Before I provide this Review/Recommendation, there is a Major Concern and Warning when purchasing anything over the internet. Especially long-term investments, or wire transfers to other states/ companies/persons. Scammers are everywhere pretending to be within the US…. DO NOT TRUST!!! VERIFY!!! Mr. Jacob J Karmazyn is a Broker, living in California. I checked the many agencies within California and the Company he represented in NJ/NY/CT. Mr. Karmazyn license in CA was in excellent standing and the Company financials were also highly rated. Everything turned out great and I have agreed to write this recommendation for Mr. Karmazyn to post:

My circumstance are not unusual for a couple married for 50 years. My husband became uninsurable because of medical reasons however, I remained insurable. Mr. Karmazyn being a broker, researched different companies that would provide the best long-term need for both my husband and me. Mr. Karmazyn provided a solution that would assist us both, when the time comes that we require extra assistance. He provided a long-term Annuity (that was set not to lose the principle in a volatile stock market), a Life Insurance/Lifetime Withdrawal Income/Withdraw For Medical Circumstances/Rider.
Mr. Karmazyn always answered every question professionally. He provided information orally and followed up in writing. Mr. Karmazyn, being a broker, is a person that will listen to your situation and will work to find solutions that best fit your needs. My husband and I are better situated for the many needs that will challenge us in the future.

My wife and I purchased a LTC policy from Jacob ten years ago. We knew next to nothing about the ins and outs of such policies. Jacob worked with us to tailor a policy to our needs with clear explanations/illustrations of the options. We purchased the policies along with single premium annuities designed to provide tax-free income for LTC premium payments after ten years.
Over the years I had regular check-ins with Jacob about our coverage. He was always available (even on his honeymoon in Europe!) and promptly addressed our issues.
But here is the important part: We needed to utilize the benefits when my wife was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 2019. As her condition deteriorated we needed the LTC benefits of our policy. Jacob and Genworth stepped up and we received the much needed and appreciated help for her care. The last thing anyone needs in a time of crisis is insurance hassles but we received professional and compassionate assistance.
This summer (2023) marks the 10 year policy anniversary. Jacob contacted me to facilitate the transition to the annuity payouts that will now cover (again, tax-free) most of my LTC premiums.
Jacob's professionalism and vigilance have resulted in this being possibly the most important and financially valuable investment I have made. It is tremendously comforting to know that he will be there should the occasion ever arise again.
