Kramer Investment is outstanding! My husband and I have been immensely grateful each and every day that we've been their tenants. Everyone who works for Kramer is respectful, fair, competent and kind toward us. They are promptly attentive to every detail in making our home life a beautiful experience. It's not an exaggeration on my part to say that I feel I've been searching my entire life to be able to rent a home from such good and reputable people. They truly go the extra mile to do things with the utmost quality. They are a humane company. Thank you Kramer!

I moved in over a weekend and noticed that while the heater turned on, no heat was coming out. Also I had no hot water, so Sunday afternoon spoke with the resident manager. At first, she thought I should contact the water company, but soon after thought on-site maintenance may be able to help. Within a 1/2 hour, Bill came by and said he was going to get a part and should have the issue fixed in an hour. True to his word, he stopped back by under an hour and I had heat and hot water on a late Sunday afternoon. It eased my mind on my first night here.

Finding the best property management in Northern California is a challenge due to the limited number of corporations, especially, in a college town areas.

Humboldt County has a few property management corporations that dominate the area. And for new residents like students or short time employees who just moved to the area, they would have to go almost to every property office to find a place or to be in a waiting list.

When I arrived to Humboldt County I was here as an international student, and had no idea how difficult it would be to find a place. After struggling to find a place just for myself for a year, I was so happy to come across Kramer Investment Corporation Office.

I have lived in one of their properties in Arcata for 5years and a half, and never had any problems or issues with any individual from the office. One thing I would suggest though is installing surveillance cameras in the premises to limit property damages and for protection as well.

My leasing agent during my stay was Nancy Garrett, and she was always there when I needed help with anything. Very responsive, communicative about property policy changes, rent extensions, and would always have time to get my requests for any repairs looked at in a timely manner. My rent only went up once during my 5 years and it was during my last year of lease. I had to move out because I needed a larger space since my husband was moving back to Humboldt otherwise I would’ve just stayed with them.

I loved how they have online payment system, and the staff at the office are very nice and respectful.

I would recommend them as a property management for people who are looking for a private place for yourself or for a roommate seekers.

The apartments I lived in was 1bedroom 1bathroom, and I had amazing memories there.

Do not rent with them! They are scammers and will steal your deposit. They act like they care about tenants but they are soul-less money-grabbers. They took 2/3 of my security deposit for "cleaning and repairs" when the apartment was always kept in great condition while I lived there. I also cleaned it before moving out. They lied on the list of things that had to be cleaned and repaired, stating things were broken or missing when that simply was not true. The apartments themselves are already over-priced and Kramer will raise your rent during your time there. They are rude, they lie, and they will steal your money. Do not rent with them.

One of the worst property management companies I've dealt with. They cut corners making these apartments. The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbor's conversations. They put smoke detectors directly above electric stoves in poorly ventilated apartments, so any given day, you'll hear smoke alarms going off all around the complex because it's unavoidable if you're trying to cook food. They charge double what my last apartment complex charged for laundry, yet they are the exact same make and model of washers and dryers, and the laundry machines are always either broken or filled with dog hair. Homeless people have stolen my neighbor's clothes right out of the washing machines, they've stolen packages from porches here, and they stole my locked bike off my porch. Despite the constant maintenance being done, there is always litter and dog poo everywhere on the complex. Oh, and they raise the rent the maximum amount that they can legally raise it in California every year. So if you don't like overpaying for subpar housing, rent from someone else.

Terribly constructed buildings. Left a spotless apartment and Kramer charged me a $400 cleaning fee out of my deposit for a "flat rate cleaning service" for things like bugs in light fixtures that I never once removed. They also charged me for spiderwebs on my porch that I had cleaned right before I left. Sorry I can't control the spiders.

In addition, they raise rent as much as they can every year. Laundry rooms are not maintained and constantly smell like mold.

So pleased with Forrest's work on my refrigerator leveling. The fridge adjustment was cranky with a low spot on one side of the floor. But, the door opens comfortably and safely now! Thank you.
