I love this place. Going to help raise it to 5 stars. I was raised that whenever I visited anywhere I left it was when I arrived at the least. Mostly I try to better it if I can. Like if I bring in food I take out whatever is left. Lake Norell is a beautiful place what we leave behind will hurt the wildlife and birds of the area. So i pick other peoples stuff and dispose it.
Help out when you visit do the same and help keep beautiful❤

This place is outstanding and have many options for fun. The lake is very clear and gorgeous. It is usually well used. However, the best part is the Cascades and clear water stream that runs for the lake. It runs for about one mile and it is beautiful, peaceful and easily accessible. If you take swimming Goggles you can spot fish at the lake and at the stream. It is unfortunate that people still litter around, but it is definitely worth a visit (and take your trash back with you)

I really enjoy the walks and waterfall and floating. I just have to bring a bag to pick up everyone's trash because some just don't have any respect. It's sad to because it could really be a nice place all the time. I still go, but I end up picking everyone's trash up each time.

It isn't a large lake but it is nice and quiet for the most part. The boat ramp is surprisingly nice for how small the lake is. During the summertime, you can find families swimming/picnicking along the bank by the ramp. Just be careful to not upset a local, everyone seems to think they own the water.

Beautiful lake however, people treat this place like it's theirs and refuse to pick up after themselves. The public areas for decades have been littered with filth, literally broken beer bottles, cans, trash and used DIAPERS. We always bring multiple 30-gallon trash bags to clean up after everybody and trek long distances through the woods to bring it to the garbage cans by parking. Great place to bring your kids but make sure everyone has swim shoes or else they will get broken glass in their feet.

One of my favorite places that’s close by. The one spot on the trail past the dam, there’s a lot of trash every time we go. It’s the only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars.
