From an inexpience mortgage broker, Nicholas Veres, to the loan processed, Mindi at Hunt Morgage and the in-named underwriter, they were terrible. Nick did not timely follow up with phone calls nor emails. Nick did not lock in the rate as we requested, but waited a few days until the rate went higher. The Hunt Mortgage people admitted to sitting on our loan file, only asking for 16 items mere days before the scheduled closing date. Then even asked for additional documents on the day of closing. The actual closing statement was provided only an hour before the closing while they expected us to still wire funds for the down payment within this short window. We will NEVER use the mortgage broker nor Hunt Mortgage ever again.
