This property management company is exceptional. They took the time to review my application and considered the whole person rather than the mere statistics. They are professional yet super personable. Their property is charming, beautifully maintained, safe….i am overjoyed to count myself amongst their tenants.

Specifically, Esmeralda who made this all happen and Ed who gave me the keys…thank you so much. I feel very welcomed home.

I have been fortunate enough to have been with these folks since 2019. I don't regret any of it. It all started with Ed. He was very understanding and helped me find a place. He found a great place for me but had to wait 3 weeks as they were renovating. When I moved in 2019, the lovely apartment manager, Janet was very sweet and though there was a pretty obvious language barrier, she helped me in every possible way that she could. I was so impressed that I moved from a studio to a 1-bedroom and have been here for nearly 4 years. Outside of things that were outside of their control (extreme heat and parking) I had no issues being with them. By my 2nd year, Martin steps in as the new Apartment manager of my 1-bedroom, and was a God-send. He helped with my parking situation and even tried to help with ideas of cooling the apartment (older building). Both places welcomed my pets with no issue.

One thing to note, was back in 2022, they changed how rent was paid (new software), I thought I had updated properly but the bank on my side didn't get the correct verification. I ended up being very late on rent without me knowing. They simply gave me a call, asked if everything was okay and notified me I was late. I, of course, promptly paid and corrected the bank verification. The ONLY reason why I need to leave is due to changes in my personal life and unfortunately, the only negative about this company is that where I want to live... they don't offer vacancy. Shame. I will miss these guys. Thank you all

This company sucks. They don’t care about the people living in their apartment complexes or how the apartments looks. Roaches everywhere!!! A leak happened in my apartment due to something in the unit above and it ruined my stuff and they never even apologized considering it’s their fault!!! I’m 100% that the nice comments about Fernando are his friend doing him the favor because he is rude and doesn’t give you the time of day. The only positive thing about him is that he responds to emails quickly. He always avoids answering questions which makes you have to email him again (very unnecessary). I understand he is busy and works with many people, but if you put the time in to talk to your tenants we wouldn’t reach out to you as much. I’m 100% I had mold in my unit, they were suppose to send a mold expert in, yet Fernando was the one to come and inspect? Do nooooooot work with this company, especially if thinking about staying in 1330 west 11th St. apartment complex. I also left my apartment super clean, cleaner than what it was when I got it and still go money deducted for a cleaning fee. Which i personally think is crazy because they probably don’t even get it cleaned considering it was dirty when I moved in.

Hey you guys, don't your property management people care what the building looks like anymore?

The building is not maintained liked the way it was before. We don't see anyone actively cleaning like we used to.

There are noticeable cobwebs on the railing.

There are stains and trash on the staircase.

There’s always seems to be dog poop in the front and trash all over the building.

There is broken glass and other dangerous items around the trash can itself.

We can furnish pictures in evidence of all that we have listed.

We understand if the company is delaying hiring a cleaning crew, but it is Oscar and Mayra’s responsibility to keep the building clean.

One of the washers has been leaking water for over a month and it’s still not fixed.

It’s seems to me that Mayra and Oscar don't care anything at all about the safety and hygiene of the tenants of the building.

I remember when I wanted to move out to LA but my credit was pretty run down.

I applied for several places in the area but all were turned down for my credit.

I applied for a studio near MacArthur park and to my surprise, was accepted without issue.

That was two years ago, I’ve since moved out of LA for now but cannot thank Ed and his team enough for having allowed me the opportunity to move there!

Fast response whenever anything was needed, heater repair or any concern- was answered quickly and cordially.

Linder Property Management:
Yolanda Apartments

It has been more than a month since letting Oscar and Mayra know that our blinds need to be fixed. Oscar told me we will fix “when the apartment is empty”. He is clearly implicating that it will only be fixed when we leave…as in no longer tenants here.

He's also giving us to understand that as long we are still here then we will just have to live with the broken blinds . It is ridiculous.

However, Days later some supervisor comes in and says , oh no worries we will fix it for you. But as of now, still nothing has happened.

This is not right. And frankly it seems evil. Do you guys know he acts this way

The two managers at Yolanda apartments Mayra and Oscar dont have any knowledge or experience of their duties and responsibilities as a apartment manager. They lie to the tenants and try to enforce unwritten rules and policies threatening with eviction for no reason. I would like to bring this to the notice of the owning company Linder & Associates to take necessary actions and avoid getting sued by the tenants in the near future.

Linder just took over my apt complex this year and have seen a huge difference in their maintenance standards compared to the prior 7 years at this place. They checked the sink pipe leaks their first visit and without requesting they replaced my bathroom sink due to rust issues that were built up prior to my move in. Today we had a normal smoke detector check and I inquired to the mgr overseeing the team about huge gap at the base of my front door. He said he could be back later today to fix it. Sure enough he came back after finishing is initial visit walkthrough with the needed rubber door space blocker. I will no longer have huge lizards/cockroaches/spiders sneaking in randomly! You can see the gap bfr and with my finger and what the new rubber looks like after. No uninvited guests coming in anymore haha. Much appreciated. Wish I caught his name.
