Good people and awesome good service.I recommended people to them, Jan is the sweetest person you'll ever meet! Love you Jan, you're awesome! Ya, I agree, can't complain about the rent for sure. Be kind people, they're awesome!

I rented from them a handful of times from 2011-2020, and never had an issue. first I wana say that I loved Jan lol. She's been there for decades, and dealt with a lot of horrible tenants. nothing wrong with trying to weed them out. asking if you've been arrested shouldn't be offensive, when it's very common for a landlord to ask or to have on their application. she asks that because it is on the physical application that she fills out as she asks you the questions. having been arrested before doesn't mean they won't rent to you tho lol. thing is, Jan just isn't fake. you pay your rent on time, don't be a problem, and there won't be a problem! & you'll actually find that Jan is awesome and can be super sweet.
for people that complain about not having appliances....if you take into consideration the price of rent now, I think going and finding a couple used appliances for cheap (they are all over FB) is well worth it. you can spend a few hundred up front to get them, rather than paying $400+/mo for somewhere that includes them all. and you're out of your mind if you expect to pay what they charge for rent, and have a top notch/brand new apartment. go find a 2 bedroom apartment for that price.... you will look for forever, bc there are few and far between.
I always tell people to call Mayes when they tell me they are looking for an apartment!

Old lady on the phone was very abrasive. Very rude. Renting a 2 bedroom apartment but has a problem with me having a child Asked if I had ever been arrested over the phone. Very dismissive. I don't see how anyone would ever rent from these clowns. No fridge. No stove. Look elsewhere. There are plenty of apartments in the area. Horrible and I do mean horrible customer service from JAN, the old lady. No wonder why these apartments are up for rent for so long, why would anyone want to deal with this nonsense. 500+ and you need to pay utilities after you get your own fridge and stove. Not worth it. I exclaim.not worth it. Have you ever been arrested was one of the starter questions. Be aware and look elsewhere. It's not worth it here. If you don't believe itm call and ask for Jan. Talk to that Peach of an old lady. She will make your meanest Granny look like the Easter Bunny.

Always willing to work with you, Jan is just serious about what she does, she wants to make sure your a good fit, as would any other place that rents out house lol, great prices, house are decent.
