I have rented a unit that has been managed by MCM since 2014. There have been several different staff members over the years and I think the current team is the strongest. They respond to inquiries quickly and follow through until the job/request is complete to your satisfaction. In particular I had a very positive experience with Jace and Joeanna.

I do not recommend whatsoever. Unprofessional service. our building manager, Bryan is the worst never respond to text messages or phone calls and quick to send text messages of complaints that are not related to us.

Definitely wouldn’t deal with this company. Condescending, rude and unwilling to help. Had to pass up on a place I applied for because the person handling it (Eboni Vasquez) wants to pull a power play and hit me with “This is MCM Property Management and we have a different criteria!” The traits that I listed was basically my whole experience with her. Crazy cause I was excited about the unit i seen. Also would like to reiterate that I didn’t get denied. We were still in the application process and I was more than willing to help in any way they needed. Then when I didn’t feel the same type of effort from your employee. I told her I’d like to just forgo the application because her condescending and rude attitude. So for MCM property management to back that behavior is just another example of why they are so badly reviewed.

My building manager, Omar, is probably the best I’ve encountered so far! He is very nice and professional. He’s easy to work with and on top of all the queries and requests. It’s been great living in the building, it felt like home to me thanks to the nice aprtment building, maintenance, management, and my neighbors.

I lived at 3441 w 2nd st for exactly one year the only thing I can say about the place is that it is a great place to be in peace, no noisy neighbors, no traffic noise, the management takes care to keep it clean, without a doubt, it is a good place to live management takes care that all maintenance issues are resolved as soon as possible and regarding the deposit at the end of my move out they were fair deducting what was appropriate. I will highlight the negative that I found living there is without a doubt the PARKING PROBLEM if you leave early for work and Come back late you will not find parking anywhere that is all the negative I find about the place. But for the rest GOOD PLACE & MCM EXCELLENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.

I don't even know where to begin. I've moved around quite a bit and dealt with my fair share of landlords as a result. None have been as incompetent as MCM. Maintenance requests were turned around within a couple days in my first couple months there. Fine. Jesse himself took care of one of them. The real fun started when they decided to replace the water pipes. We would get handwritten notes taped to our doors the night before telling us that water would be turned off the next day from 8-5. Ok, fine. Not ideal but I'll deal. But what I couldn't tolerate was the water coming out in trickles even outside of these business hours. The water was either freezing hot or freezing cold. I would have to go to my gym to shower before work. I submit maintenance requests for them to look at my shower to see if they can do anything, and they always said that it would be better "tomorrow," but tomorrow never came. I called Barbara to tell her I would like to break my lease on the grounds that they were not upholding their end of the lease agreement (I mean we should at least have running shower water outside of business hours), and she was at first very angry and rude, and then agreed to decrease my rent. I followed up to see how much they would reduce my rent by, and I never heard back. I didn't bother to follow up with them because my lease was almost up. And to top it all off, they definitely had a termite infestation in the building. There were termites coming out of my faucets. My windows would be black with crawling termites. I called them to let them know, and they said they would check on it. Not sure what ever came of it, but knowing them...probably absolutely nothing. Since the day I moved in I counted down the days I could start looking for a new apartment. Writing this review now because I saw a couple of their signs up in LA and I want to warn off prospective renters.

I'm surprised they're still in business.

My experience with this company was terrible. Maintenance, pest problems, etc was never addressed, manager was rude and not helpful and the building supervisor Omar was really rude and of no help too. When you call the office look forward to the people who answer being extremely condescending and rude also employees have a tendency to lie. Honestly it's a really guetto** company to be straight forward.

This is my first apartment since moving to Los Angeles, and I am happy to have gone to MCM Property Management. Candice was really communicative with me and was quick to respond to emails and pending questions during the application process. Been at 3065 Leeward Ave location for 7 months and have loved every second of it. The on- site managers and neighbors are quiet and respectful. Thank you MCM for giving me my first home.
