We had a tree fall on our house last April. Our first agent never answered the phone or helped us so I thought switching back to Mike would be a good idea. First off, he’ll call 2-3 times in a row and leave no voicemail if you don’t answer your phone right away. Second, our roof leaked and got rain all over our bathroom floor for six months before the roof was sealed and when I told Mike I want my floors replaced he said “my floors have been wet before and dried out they were fine yours will be fine.” Now I have to worry about mold and sagging floors. He doesn’t care about you even with full coverage insurance he will protect State Farm. I asked for State Farm corporate number and Mike “didn’t have it” the adjuster would go 1-3 weeks without contacting me and Mike “couldn’t get ahold of home either” yeah right. And the worst problem I had with Mike is I caught him on our ring doorbell trespassing into our home while the drywallers were there and when we called to tell him not to trespass in our home again he said “I was just checking work” and said since I walked him through our house before, he thought that was an “open invitation” into our home. Absolutely absurd. I also called recently to inform him that the contractors assigned to us were not fully insured (they had damaged our property) and he acted like he had no idea and called them. He called me back and said “they have too large of a deductible payment to give that out” so in other words they are not insured and he’s refusing to give that information. Now I have to take legal action when I shouldn’t have to for my home to be fixed correctly. Mike doesn’t care and state farm doesn’t care. We switched as soon as we could.
