They called me about life insurance and I told them that I had been diagnosed 20 years ago with cancer but I have been cancer free for 20 years now.

Underwriter ordered blood work and asked me many questions over a two month period and after I had submitted everything that they wanted I was asked if I would allow them access to my VA Medical records which I did and after two more weeks I received a call from my agent saying that they needed more information from me.

I responded with how much more information do they want? I gave them everything and I even paid 360 dollars to start my policy. I said if they can’t insure me then just stop everything and give me back my money.
I received a call the next day saying that unfortunately they couldn’t insure me due to something being in my VA medical records which I spoke to my VA Doctor and he told me that there was nothing in my file because I had been cancer free for 20 years.
