Worst experience I have ever had with an Insurance company. It was a brand new home and should have gone smoothly but I have never encountered the lack of professionalism and incompetence we’ve experienced from this agency over the last year. The agent is never around and the assistants are lacking in knowledge and skills to help and are not interested in problem solving. There are definitely some issues with paperwork at the corporate headquarters but this agency should be able to assist. Escrow paid at closing but I kept getting bills and the agents office could never get them straight. I ended up paying and canceled the policy at the end of the first year.

My husband and I have been clients of State Farm for over 40 years but have never encountered the lack of professionalism and incompetence we’ve experienced from this agency over the last year. We have had cancellation notices sent to us without statements, statements sent to us and then we receive reimbursement for overpayment, hand delivered checks to their office but still receive cancellation notices, a significant increase in our homeowner’s insurance this year without any explanation other than “That’s just the rate!” and no claims in over 30 years, no word on reductions to our homeowner’s insurance for our new fortified roof and other hurricane improvements even though we’ve provided all documentation they require. You may want to consider other companies if you want prompt service and assistance. They will gladly take your money, but don’t expect support.
