Amazing experience with Jennifer Stewart at ML mortgage. She went out of her way to meet us personally and explain our options even before we looked at condos for our son. Throughout the day she continued to give us options and updated costs. She adapted quickly to our preferred way of communicating (What’s App) and emailed us with advice. She listened to our needs and was quickly on board with our plan. She’s incredibly responsive. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a loan.

Denise Montenegro was the loan officer I was communicating with. My experience during the pre qualification process was not the best. We went over numbers and she advised what I qualified for but did not send me anything in writing. Two weeks later I follow up with her to ask if she was able to send me a breakdown so I can review it, she sets a call with me to discuss but still does not send me anything. My first mistake was continuing the process with her. She was nice but her follow up was not great. I was partnered with a realtor on Zillow and that's how I was connected to Denise. I don't have the best experience with my realtor so I asked Denise if she would still service me if I got a new realtor in which she said yes but asked why was I considering it. I explained what I was not happy with and she said she will communicate with them in a way that she doesn't fully share my concerns but if I decided to seek a new agent she would still assist. When Denise finally sent me my pre approval letter she had me down for a second home (this was my first) and she had my credit score listed at 808 which was also not accurate. I explained it to her and she said it didn't matter but she must have got me confused with someone else because she's been busy. My second mistake was saying it was ok and still not receiving an updated one. I continued the process but decided to let go of the realtor I was partnered with. The realtor sent me a nasty message and when I expressed that to Denise she said "they have every right to feel that way" which I thought was odd when she already knew I was not happy. Denise said she would still assist as I told her I wanted to continue the process with her. My new realtor connected me with her lender where I learned additional information and had a better understanding of things. Third mistake I connected with Denise and gained clarity on the fees that were added on my loan estimate. Denise expressed we could negotiate them but said "I don't want to play games you can get information if you want but I don't want to go back and fourth with you". this is my first time buying a house so I do have a lot of questions. I told her I was just asking because I wanted to make sure I understand and her tone changed and she said it's ok. We began to start the paperwork with the offering process and my realtor reached out to Denise, Denise sent over the the documentation but just a pre approval letter not the approval package. My agent reached out to Denise on what was missing and Denise did not respond. I texted Denise and called her and still no response. I would not recommend this company as communication is horrible and for my understanding during escrow communication is crucial.
