After getting denied from a mortgage company the day of the closing, the denial was over (2 hours less on my check due to Holiday time.) I was depressed and decided that owning was not for me. A few people that worked for the community that I wanted to move too contacted another mortgage company. I went on a rampage of looking for rentals because I had to move within 30 days. I had a few rental options....the same day I spent over $100 on rental application fees Stephen reached out to me. I was not interested at all because I went through a lot and had my hopes up to be denied the same day of the closing. Stephen told me "Just give me a couple days and I will get you approved." At that moment I told him okay but after a couple of days I will sign the lease. SURE ENOUGH....he called and said that I was "Conditionally approved." like he promised. At that point I still was not a believer because I was denied the day of my closing. He told me to hand everything they requested in. After a week and a half of handing in the documents. I was officially approved! He also, worked so very hard....and they moved my closing date up closer ( All of this in the same week of getting approved) so that we would have time to move in our new home and still have time to clean out and hand the keys over. TRUST and BELIEVE it! He kept his promise. His team is an excellent team. I would choose them over anyone any day. I would love to Thank STEPHEN and his entire team and I am so appreciative. I AM NOW A HOME OWNER!

Listennnnnnn Richard Matos and Stephanie Vaughn hands down may God multiply y’all sales after 3 months with another lender keep lying every time we was about to close make us almost lost our money , house and homeless etc we transfer our loan to NorthStar best decision ever our last lender her message was u will never be approved lmaooo not even a week we receive our clear to close from NorthStar ain’t God great we close with 4K less than previous lender and our monthly payment is 500 less nahhh yall need NorthStar for sure will upload picture later when we out.This is us on our to our new 4beds new construction

Truly amazing experience! Thank you Stephen, Carys, Ansley, and the whole team at Homestar! As a first time homebuyer, I really had no idea what to expect. With a new construction purchase, I anticipated that it would be a long road— What I didn’t anticipate is just how much I would depend on the sheer perseverance, creativity, dedication, optimism, expertise, and advice of my lender. For 10 months, Stephen helped guide me through when to lock my rate, my options for down payments vs monthly cost, alllll the paperwork and student loan documentation, all the unexpected hurdles, and was patient with all the emotions that come with the unknown.
