I relocated to this apartment in November 2024 and have since experienced a series of maintenance issues, including no hot water, a kitchen sink malfunction, and a backed-up drain. Notably, I previously reported an issue with the bathroom hardware in the shower coming loose. As someone who works full-time and is away from home from 7am to 7pm, I find it concerning that these problems are occurring. Why is my apartment experiencing such frequent maintenance issues when I am rarely present? I love that the apt is quite and they do keep up the grounds.

These are anything BUT senior apartments. the security is useless. Gates are always open allowing anyone to go through. Homeless people are constantly hanging around riding their bikes with recycling cans, smells like weed and do NOT look like seniors. Pretty sure someone who does live there sells drugs by the type of people who were hanging around. It has a pool (if you think that’s a deal) but the only area that is nice is the office, You can tell management does a poor job of service keeping the apartment area clean. Just because they remodel the inside doesn’t make the environment nice on the outside. No cameras around the buildings on corners. No security on the watch day or night. Homeless people blocking the entrance or random cars blocking the entrance that don’t live there to go in as soon as it opens. I don’t recommend anyone to live here.

Update I moved out, this past weekend my downstairs neighbor who invited her family of 6 to move in with her.The granddaughter kicked in her door they are destroying the property. The police came out they have it documented that they have been out here 7 times for this family, The staff worry more about towing cars then cleaning up the laundry rooms. since August it's so much violence and drug use down there, The office have taken away our rights to enjoy the property as seniors no computers in the club house no senior activities at all. They're moving in homeless people with mental problems. The leasing office does not want to address any of the tenants concerns or anything regarding the property they want to be left alone, property is very dirty. Update I have moved out, and also this property is so fifty that the Mayor of Hemet, Code enforcement, Section 8 have all come down to see for themselves just how bad Oak Terrace have gotten in the last 2 yrs. people are moving out the staff is so rude don't care about seniors, we were suppose to have computers in the club house there's nothing there, they also removed most of the patio furniture so you can't enjoy the patio area, really gone downhill! Homeless people are moving in bringing their huge dirty animals with them their on section 8, no rules for them! Update I never received my security deposit!!!

Oak Terrace Senior Apts. is home to us. We have just completed our 4th year here. We are conveniently located
to all shopping and restaurants. Our 1 bedroom has ample room for our California king bed. The counter space along with the cabinetry is great. I also have a pantry. There are 3 laundry rooms and we all get 1 covered parking space. Come and check out a quiet friendly 55+ community.

I am a current resident of Oak Terrace Senior apartments and have enjoyed living here 16 years. I've been able to relate each management with success. Please consider living here as an option. See ya, Valerie

My mother has lived here for almost 10 years and most of the recent reviews are accurate. This place has gone down hill, the new owners are cheap, don’t do repairs in a timely manner and don’t take care for the apartment grounds. My mother is in a wheelchair disabled and her AC has went out for the second time this year and they told her they don’t have estimated time when it will be fixed. The previous time she had to wait four months to have her AC fixed…you joking right. I do not recommend this place to anyone and hopefully we can find her a better place to live soon.

This place has gone way down the hill The Landscaping is terrible. When I call the office no one picks up the phone at all. It is as if they don't care about us at all. There are people staying here with other tenants without paying rent. Whenever a tenant lets the office know, the clerk tell us to submit a letter and nothing is done. When new tenants we are telling other tenants word on the street that "the office does nothing to correct non praying tenants who are not on a lease." There have been teenagers living here with family members. Many of us living here know this to be true. I've been living in my apartment for about 11 years and the up keep has gone beyond down hill. I know you probably don't care about us. But if their is no tenants there is no landlord. I've work in management for many many Year and I realize that if you have no people to live in this apartment complex, you have no business to run. I an very concern about the lack of concern shown to us. Please do better by US.

I have lived here for 8 years , I live all the way to the back of the complex and it is like we are 2nd class people. the lawn people never come back here & rake leaves or pick up tree bark. half of the "garden" area is chocked with weeds over waist high. Everyone that moves out leaves old, filthy furniture and mattresses with huge stains on them, back here in our parking lot. Management will do nothing to remove them. People who live in the duplexes on the other side of the back block wall throw firecrackers over here & we fear that it will start a fire, but repeated complaints by us are disregarded by management. A new management company has taken over this year and things have gone from bad to worse. I will be moving when my lease is up. The front of the complex is kept up, but the back is left alone and looks like a 3rd world country. We pay the same rent as the people in the front of the complex, but our area is not kept up like the front of the complex that they show people when they are trying to rent an apartment to them.
