I have lived at the apartments on tenth for about a year. The rent is very fair in my opinion, and the building is very quirky and attractive. The unit came with a goodie bag that had a cutting mat in it that I still use! The unit itself is very nice, just want I wanted. The laundry room’s washer and dryers were recently upgraded which is awesome. If you are a student looking for a nice, on campus apartment, I highly suggest looking into what Olympus has to offer. The only thing I would warn any potential renters about is the downtown noise, however if you are like me, it is very endearing and relaxing! This company is a great choice if you are looking for somewhere to live that won’t break the bank and actually cares about its tenants!

Olympus was a phenomenal property management. Everyone in the office is so kind and responsive. Any maintenance issue was fixed very quickly. Also, they were very fair in handling the security deposit. The Mercury Building was quiet and a perfect place to live as a grad student. The building was incredibly secure and I felt very safe living there.

I’ve been with Olympus for a year and I have renewed my lease for next year as well. I can’t say enough good things about Olympus. My roommates and I have had a fantastic experience with them. The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. Every interaction I’ve had with them has been great. They’re seriously the best housing company I’ve dealt with. They’re fair in what they charge for and quick with any
maintenance notifications we send in. They have a super fair subleasing policy. If you’re thinking about leasing with Olympus but you’re worried about how they are as a company, don’t you worry. They’re great.

So many great things to name… I lived in one of Olympus’ properties for two years. The property was clean, well-lit, and I felt very safe in the area. Maintenance was always very prompt, professional, and kind (especially to my cat!). The administration team is also very quick to respond to concerns and great at resolving any issues that may occur. The rent is better than a lot of places in the area, too!

Mack, Amy, Alison, and others made my experience one that I’ll never forget. If I ever move back to Bloomington, I’d want to stay here!

Terrible property managers(Spring Texas complex). They will tell you anything to get you to rent but afterwards when they pull out the german gestapo tactics. Loves using the structure of the dwelling and safety equipment inspection which is short for snooping and looking around your home.

Stay clear of these facilities

I made a terrible decision to live at The Mercury apartments. They fined me and my roommate over $900 for one of our guests dropping a beer bottle in the lobby due to “damages” caused to the concrete floor. They will charge you for anything and everything. Be prepared to pay an extra couple grand for living there and don’t expect to see a dime of your security deposit.

The property manager, Amy, was very sweet and always quick to help. The leasing manager, however was disrespectful.

Overall, living there was an awful experience. I’ve rented from multiple companies throughout my time in Bloomington and never had any problems. I highly recommend finding another company to rent from.

Do not get involved with this company. I've had 3 leases with this company. The 1st 2 I got around the same time and the 3rd I got before I knew what I was getting in too.
I'll start by saying that the office staff is pompous and in my experience cares very little for you once you've signed their lease.
In the 1st apartment I had (Walnut St), there was some kind of an issue with sewage next door. I could smell things from the neighbors bathroom that you shouldn't smell. When I contacted the office regarding the problem I was told to "put a towel over the fan" in my bathroom.
The tub in this apartment and the other apartments that I rented were cheaply refinished instead of replaced. The finish in the tubs (all of them) cracked and peeled off with normal use. This sent chips of finish down the drain and caused the drains to clog regularly.
I found that in the last apartment I was to pay a full months rent for the 2 days of that 1st month that I was there. Evidently that was in the lease. Very expensive to not have time to read a 15 page legal document while they wait for you to sign. You would think they would have told me this prior to signing.
Evidently this area is a very competitive market for apartments, so expect them to regularly let random people in to look at your rental.
Also on my last month my car rolled backwards in the parking lot because the parking break wasn't engaged which I wasn't aware of. Maintenance was already outside working and had to contact me to tell me this happened. They charged me $40.00 for maintenance's time.
When I finally got away from them they found a way to keep my entire security deposit of course. Again nothing but problems. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

My roommates and I just moved out of an Olympus Property duplex after living there for two years. We got our itemized bill back and instead of receiving our deposit money back we were charged an extra $400. They had charged us $700 for painting because of “dirty” walls. They also charged us $400 for cleaning services. They house was not clean when we moved in and we decided to hire and pay professional cleaners to clean up the house from the last renters. Nothing was broken or damaged just normal wear and tear after renting a house for two years. They then added a $250 charge for “flea removal.” We never had a pet in our house and definitely did not have fleas present in our unit. They thrive off taking advantage of college students, I would stay away from Olympus Properties as they are scammers!
