Choose anywhere else to rent from. I promise living in a tent outside of a park would be better than here. Management doesn’t care to fix maintenance issues, things listed as broken when moving still haven’t been fixed. Had a dirt HVAT that wasn’t cleaned and then waited on until finally fixing it months later. Gas bill is crazy high, for just heating the place while gone. Lights don’t work well, barely lighting up anything. Among 10 other issues I could list.

Rented from them for a year. Moved in with a broken window and lost my security deposit because of a broken window (they never fixed it, even tho I put it many maintenance requests and they told me it would be fixed before I moved in) I also didn’t have water for a month due to pee and poop coming out of my sink drain, shower drain, and squirting out of my toilet bowl. I had to get a hotel, and when I asked for reimbursement, they laughed at me. This was by far the worst out of the 5 property managements I rented from while living in Bloomington. Steer clear of these con artists. They will take your money and leave you stranded

Rented from them for a year. Sewage backup caused me to not have water for month. I had to get a hotel to shower and they laughed at me when I asked for reimbursement. Parker is the worst apartment company to rent from in Bloomington. Spent $1000+ on rent that month and $1000+ in hotel costs. Double my rent to be laughed at for their plumbing problem.

Terrible customer service. They were seldom available and said they would fix various issues but NEVER did. I moved out of a house with a broken window, flooded basement, mold in the walls and showers (none of which were my fault) and it took the 3 MONTHS TO CHANGE LOCKS as someone had broken in. If you want to feel safe and like management cares then don't choose Parker Real Estate.

I lived in a home leased by Parker my senior year and my experience was horrific in every way imaginable. They charged us a fee when we moved in called a "lock change fee," but the locks on our doors were very clearly old and had not been replaced prior to us moving in. A few months into living in that home, the door became impossible to unlock from the outside. We realized this on a weekend and called the emergency maintenance to ask them to come out and fix it for us. I explained that we were 4 women living there and that the only other way into the home was through the back door that we had never used because it was covered in spider webs and it was completely unlit. He didn't see how that was a safety issue and refused to come out and fix it and then hung up on me. When I called him right back, he screamed at me and hung up again. Fast forward to Monday, and I had conversations with the leasing office and they sent someone else out to replace the lock and apologized for how unprofessional he was, but not before telling me that he had told the leasing office that I had screamed and cussed at him. Then when it came time for moving out, I broke my back cleaning that house and when the inspection woman came she said (on video, because I was recording everything with her knowledge) that it was by far the cleanest move out inspection she had ever done. Tell me then, how we were then charged over $800 for them to have a cleaning crew come in and spend over 12 hours cleaning that house. I appealed it and sent pictures of everything as well as the video and we got all of our money back. But the fact that I had to do any of that was atrocious. They charge those fees to unsuspecting college students in hopes that they won't know that they can appeal them or that they won't be smart enough to have evidence against Parker. I would not recommend to my worst enemy to lease with parker.

Rented a 1 bedroom on North Jackson Street for 3 years. Never missed 1 payment. I added someone on my Lease and later filed a restraining order against that person. I moved out of the apartment, and it took Parker Management over 1 month to get me off the Lease. They almost made me pay the next month's rent, even though I wasn't living there anymore. And even though a Lawyer said I was entitled to my full deposit back (in a domestic violence situation), I received absolutely nothing from Parker Management. Olivia was the Office Manager at the time, and she was a complete B!tch!

I'm going to have to give them a 5 star!! I moved into my new home and all the staff were super friendly and professional. There were a couple things I noticed that were wrong. I let them know about it, and the next day they were here to fix it all. They also were communicating with me about times maintenance would be entering my home! Amazing!! Thank you to everyone at Parker Management!!
