They were upfront about credit score requirements for being approved for renting. Was about 8 points short & the young lady said to not risk it and immediately handed over a paper with other property management places in town. Super friendly and accommodating and would definitely recommend if your credit score is a solid 650 or higher

I've been very pleasantly surprised with this company in the best way. I've been renting with these guys for over a year now and have had zero problems. They've been responsive, accommodating, and convenient. My tours were scheduled quickly, their in-office staff is always helpful, and they've been superb answering my questions and accommodating requests. Very impressed!

Horrible management, broke lease and raised my rent before my lease was over. Has raised my rent $200 since I’ve been here, but everytime I call about something not working, I never hear back from them to schedule a time. Took three months for a doorknob. Which left my garage unlocked for three months. Washer has been broke for an almost two weeks and still haven’t gotten a call back for a scheduled time to come fix it. Horrible place to rent from!

If I could give zero starts I would, the receptionist is one of the rudest individuals I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. She will start talking poorly about you before she is even off the phone or transferring you. This same individual will insert herself into legal issues that are not her business, and call other individuals involved to share information that is not hers to share. BE VERY CAREFUL OF ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. This establishment also does not rectify issues or call back in any timely manner. We called to ask about what had happened to the deposit and NEVER heard back. Will have to proceed legally to get a simple answer. The property was also not managed properly and trying to get anything fixed or updated was an uphill battle. Go somewhere else, save yourself the fight!

AVOID AT ALL COST! I could NOT have had a worse experience with this management group. Please steer clear and do NOT do business with them. Bruce, the manager, will lie to your face and do everything possible just to make a dollar. Just as he did to myself. I moved into an apartment and was promised it was going to professionally cleaned and it was so far past disgusting! There were piles of trash on the floor, pounds of dust and hair on the radiators, floor, and walls, and the list goes on and on. My mother came and spent two weeks, a minimum of 80-100 hours cleaning the place, along with 40 hours of my time. 30-40 hours at least spent on cleaning the floors and walls alone. We had to stay at a hotel the first night I got into town because it was beyond atrocious. (Which he did NOT compensate us for.) No one had been in the unit since the previous tenant moved out. In the lease Bruce states he'll charge up to $40/ an hour for cleaning service. I asked for 2 months rent that was more than a fair compensation. He stated he couldn't pay more than a cleaning fee. We agreed upon a half months rent at $425. I received a check for $384. He gave me a half months rent at the pro rated amount for the first month just so he could save $40. To say I had a terrible experience working with Bruce and Preferred Management is beyond an understatement. He conned me. Do NOT let him do that to you.

I cannot urge this enough. In the small time I’ve been in business with Preferred Management they have undeniably proven to be slumlords whose only concern is to take your money. I rented a place that, at first inspection, didn’t look so bad besides some cleaning, because the tenant was still living there. They promised they would clean the place before I moved in. On move-in day I came into a filthy house. The carpets weren’t even vacuumed, and there were dirt, debris, and food crumbs all over the place. When I moved out, I scheduled a check out inspection with Bruce for the next day. He told me he had it set up and would contacted James, the check out guy. The next day, James didn’t show up and after I called him, he had no mention of an appointment. So I was charged an extra day of rent for their mistake. I was also charged a cleaning fee even though I left the place in MUCH better condition than what I came into. Their prices might seem tempting but it is not worth the disrespect you receive from them. Look at all of these bad reviews! DO NOT RENT FROM PREFERRED MANAGEMENT!
