I am an owner at the Lomas Bernardo Community in Rancho Bernardo. I needed help with a palm tree on the adjacent Bernardo Crest Apartment site.
I had been talking to the apartment site for over six months with no help. All they said is “we are working on it”.
I reached out to Cheyenne Harris from our HOA for help. In about three weeks, she was able to contact Bernardo Crest, their landscape company and resolved the issue.
I am very appreciative of the work Cheyenne did. In my opinion, she is a Rock Star and is crushing it! You are very lucky to have her as employee of your company. Sincerely, Tom Perez.

Wish I could give 0 stars. They manage for my HOA. Notified them of black mold in my unit from a leak in the roof, and they took a month just to open a work order and notify my HOA. I asked why there was the delay, and they won't respond to me. No accounability. Seems like they're afraid to talk to anyone but our BOD on the phone. They never return my calls. They only respond in emails when they want to. Terrible customer service, in my opinion, and I wish my BOD would take our business elsewhere.

This company is awful to deal with. I'm an HOA president and client of theirs. Our board is trying to keep things compliant & our finances in order and Associa makes everything much more difficult than it should be due to slowness and poor/no communication. My community manager does not respond to my emails or phone calls, and our residents are incredibly frustrated. I've tried talking to others within the company over the past few months to fix things and they don't seem to care. Nothing is working and they struggle with even basic tasks such as quarterly meetings or routine financial processes. If you're on an HOA board looking for a new management company I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. They don't have the time to handle our account and they won't have time to handle yours either.
Edit: I sent a note to the Associa address per their request below two weeks ago and haven't received any response. I have a vendor invoice that is well past due because of Associa. This company continues to disappoint. Again, if you're an HOA looking at using them, I strongly recommend you go with a different company instead. I will update this review if they ever improve.

PCM just doesn’t cut it. We’ve had so many new managers & assistant managers in our short time with them. Requests get closed out with no actual work being done, zero professional consideration & communication on their end is deplorable. Professional community management? The absolute opposite!

A very difficult HOA to communicate with. Emails go unanswered for weeks. Not very results driven organization. The inability to contact or get a reply can be so frustrating as a home owner.

This is early days. My HOA has only been managed by PCM for a couple of months but the difference is evident! Past managerial relationships have varied from incompetence and impatience to outright fraud. It is refreshing to deal with a company that takes pride in its integrity, exhibits patience, offers constructive suggestions and calms troubled waters.
