If something goes wrong, it will take a really long time to get fixed. Right now there is an active bee hive in the apartment building, there is a hole in my bathroom that leads to the public areas of the building, there is a massive hole in the hallway, and the railing fell off the stairs in the building (safety issue) and the flooring in my apartment is falling apart. All of these issues have been brought to their attention and they haven’t fixed any of these issues. I pay 3k a month and live in a substandard apartment. The maintenance team is not sympathetic towards our issues and they are not respectful.

If communication, response time, maintenance and quality of life are important to you, I recommend living with a different land lord. I WILL NOT LIVE IN A BUILDING MANAGED BY THEM AGAIN.

Just a word of advice, they will be super nice during move in. That doesn’t last. I pay 3k a month and my building and apartment are falling apart.

UPDATE: they fixed the hole in my bathroom after I left this review. They have not fixed the broken staircase or remedied the bee hive in the building.

Second update: it has been over 30 days and the stairs in my apartment are broken. They lied throughout the process and have been horrific to deal with.

I had a wonderful experience living in one of Ratner Property Management's buildings. I moved in with my husband, who had already been a resident for a year. We enjoyed another year and a half there until our family outgrew the space. The staff and management were always friendly and accommodating, and the maintenance team was consistently responsive and helpful. I highly recommend renting with Ratner Property Management!

5 stars for Irene Howell!

Had a few issues during our move out as our usual point of contact was on maternity leave and the new point of contact we were given wasn’t responding. Ratner was also in the process of switching management of our building and so it was difficult coordinating our move out with them.
I reached out to Irene, despite her not being in charge of our building. And she was so responsive and helpful. She escalated our questions and got us the answers we needed so that we could have a swift and easy move out. She was truly very helpful.
