Atlantic Bay jeopardized my home purchase multiple times by their own incompetent, laziness, lack of expertise, or poor internal communication.

They nearly cancelled my home closing by requiring monthly documents be provided to them not knowing those documents would only be made available to me AFTER my closing date. I had to pester them and ask for a work around. If I had not pushed, I could have lost the house.

Then on closing day, not only did they not provide me instructions or information on how to make my down payment, jeopardizing the deal, they also included in the paperwork the WRONG down payment amount. I requested a different amount over the phone and in writing three weeks beforehand and they still got it wrong and forced me into a difficult financial situation in order to secure housing for myself and my family.

Also, the information/document sharing process was highly questionable. Not only did the pipleline coordinator give me unprompted (and highly inaccurate!!) tax advise, she was wanted all my sensitive documents sent over email as attachments instead of using a secure web portal, and even request that I just give her my bank login information so she could go in there herself.

In this tough housing market, I would recommend no one be forced to deal with such as incompetent organization that could impair either your finances or your housing security.

The refinance was easy and relatively quick. Any changes were done with haste and I was kept informed the entire process. I could view the progress of the refinance online/App or call. The people are friendly and helpful. I was also able to consolidate debt. I can now start saving money and increase my investments without being broke.
