I been with them for over 10 years, the services has dropped a lot. Use to have 4 or 5 windows open. Now if you see 3, it's a good day. Tellers don't stay there long. Over the years from the people I use to know that worked there all them didn't know each other, but yet all said the same. It wasn't the job, it was the people running the show. One person name always came up. I know their always hiring, the workers never stay long, the service has slowed down. Still a good bank to be at. I would still suggest it to the others, but it's becoming a shell of what it once was

I wanted to open a new bank account my credit wasn’t the best. I kept filling out applications and getting denied do to my credit scores. I received a call from Kenneth. I immediately after he identified his self let him know all my problems and why I was in this position. Kenneth said hey. We at Regional federal don’t judge. The feeling of peace this statement gave me. I know I messed up but I know I got to learn to balance and keep my accounts. Regional Federal Credit Union has been good to my family throughout the years. From my late mom to my interactions with them. They have been kind, helpful and supportive. The Hammond Branch. Suzette Goodwin is an angel. She is a joy to do business with. She is thorough, professional and makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. I've been a member since 2014. Last Thursday, ( March 27, 2025 ) I visited the Regional Hammond Branch to refinance my Jeep. I was skeptical at first. But, after meeting Montaiza Manyfield ( Member Service Advisor ) and Melissa Gillenwater ( Consumer Loan Underwriter ) they figured out how to lower my payment on my 2024 Grand Jeep Cherokee. Both were kind, very professional and actually determined to lower my payment. Which they did. Regional Hammond Branch had a good vibe and that's important to me. Even though I stay in Portage and go mainly to the Branch there, I will be back. Keep up the good work.

If I could have given them zero Stars I would have, a
As part of a Union we were given debit cards for our vacation fund with no other option for direct deposit I waited over 2 weeks for a return call when I finally got someone on the phone they were rude. She stated/ complained that I needed to understand that there was only two of them answering the phone for four branches and what did you want me to do about it not being able to help me and then she hung the phone up in my ear. I believe 2 weeks is way too long to wait for a return phone call I dialed the number over 50 times today to get someone to answer. I am so glad that we do not have any other dealings with this specific Credit Union . I am going to contact our local Union Hall about changing a policy of having to use your bank. As there are many in the area whom I'm sure would love to have us as a large group as customers.

Would not recommend this bank to anyone. Using an ATM listed on their website as within network will still charge you a fee. I’ve banked with many credit unions and larger banks and have NEVER been charged a fee for using an ATM directly listed on their bank website. Will likely be closing my account because I do not live in close proximity to a regional branch and there is no other way to access my money. Any ATM listed on their website will charge you a fee unless it is located at a regional credit union branch. These are free ATMs listed on their website but Regional charges if you use any ATM that is not Regionals. This was never explained to me nor is it stated on their website. I have never seen a finacial institution charge for using a within network ATM even with 5 years in the banking industry myself. If you are looking to open an account I would look elsewhere.

Bank use to be good to bank at but the employees are way too slow in drive thru. Worst bank in my opinion is why I moved most of my banking to Chase Bank. I banked here for many many years but slowly moving from them because of the lack of service in drive thru!
