    This company is doing everything and anything to keep your money. I moved out of the property (in Las Vegas) in late July, I never got my deposit checks sent to me. Mind you they kept some of my money when I KNOW I LEFT THE HOME NICER AND CLEANER THAN WHEN I MOVED IN THERE. fixed holes cleaned house from top to bottom and they still found little things to charge me for I even sent videos.
    Now, I finally got my reissue checks. I tried to go deposit them, and they stopped payment on the checks. I called to talk to someone at 2:30pm & supposedly no one was there that could fix this issue. Now I have to wait 48 hours to get this resolved and I don’t want them to RE-MAIL anything! I need my money now!!!!

    This is by far is the WORST experience I’ve had with a management company. (RENU-Nashville). RENU took over my property from another management company. Claimed I all of a sudden owed a security deposit 2 years into my lease and 4 months after I had renewed my lease for year two (even though I had qualified for a security deposit coverage policy). They Attempted to evict me claiming I failed to pay the security and rent (they locked my resident portal not allowing me to continue to pay rent). I had overnighted the $3700 cashiers check for the security deposit and rent as instructed once I was “ advised” I had to pay it (10-14 days after being notified). Provided the proof (tracking number ) and delivery receipt proof showing one of their employees signed for the envelope. They lost the cashiers check and still attempted to evict me as if I defaulted on something. I subsequently had to get a lawyer involved and provided all the emails and proof they had the cashiers check.(They eventually found the check) There was no accountability, no apology from anyone on their team for losing the cashiers check and wrongfully putting me through months of threatening to evict me. (Yes it took that long for them to locate my check). SMH
    Then they lied and stated the owner was “selling “ the property and I had to move.I asked if I could move a month early from my lease expiring since I was being forced to move…in case I located a new residence and was denied that ability.
    Finally, I moved and awaited the return of the security deposit. Only to receive a letter saying I was being charged $1400 claiming the whole house needed to be repainted. (Pictures attached to post). Charged for me not pressure washing their rental property and drive way (not apart of my lease) and then some other minor.. inaccurate charges.
    I immediately disputed the charges through the email listed on the letter. As the walls at best may have needed a few touch ups in certain spots. Definitely nothing beyond normal wear. No response. I emailed several times (with pictures attached) and called several times leaving messages. No return call nor response . To say they are unprofessional and unfair is an under statement. They handled me horribly. I have filed a complaint with the BBB back when the cashiers check disaster was occurring. And it’s looking like I will have to file a lawsuit to have my security deposit returned. As i still have not received the courtesy of a response or a review into my concerns pertaining to my security deposits. I am a single mom and work hard for every dime. I need my money. I refuse to let them bully me because they are a big company. They claim they are a trusted rental resource. I would not trust them. Renters be aware!!

    This notice is to request remedy for the pest control expenses that i have made since day 1 of my lease. My lease started on 19 September 2024. On 19 September 2024, I purchased pesticides to exterminate the spiders, and worms inside the house. On 20 September 2024, I purchased pesticides to exterminate roaches that I seen in the HVAC/ Water heater area. On 21 September 2024, I purchased more pesticides to exterminate roaches because I saw roaches right outside the front door. I also found baby roaches by the wall next to the front door. I then found roach residue under the toilet water tank lid. I then saw a live roach run under the wall as I was sweeping.

    The lawn and landscaping was unkept. I hired contractors to trim/cut weeds, overgrown ivory, overgrown bushes, weed trees & branches. Rake leaves and fallen fruit. Level overfilled dirt along perimeter of house. Remove spiderwebs and debris along the perimeter walls and windows of the house. Then place pesticides around perimeter of the house.

    I have invoices and receipts for all. This is all due to the property management’s company failure to provide a clean kept and habitable place.

    I’ve created several work orders starting on 20 September 2024. All on the RENU site. I’ve spoken with Lori about these concerns who seems to state that RENU property management isn’t responsible for any of this.

    I hope RENU is not just money hungry with bad service and can provide relief to my unfortunate expenses.

    BE CAREFUL RENTING FROM RENU!! Just looking at the generalized copy and paste message they are using to respond to complaints should show their lack of empathy and compassion!
    I am ending a year lease here. I have had the worst experience with this rental company. I dealt with a roof leak and huge hole in my roof for almost 6 months of my lease. The communication with me was absolutely horrible. The hole in the roof (which occurred during hurricane season here in Florida) caused a slew of other issues such as the floors holding moisture, high electricity bills, moldy fiberglass falling out the hole daily. I called to express my concerns and get updates, only to have my privilege of filing maintenance requests revoked from me. After countless emails and phone calls the property manager Kelsey Hulecki never called me back but to email me a generalized copy and paste email and I never heard from her again. Corey Crabbs finally called me over a month later and finally got the roof tarped and hole covered with a thin piece of ripped plastic (photos with dates to show proof) after my constant complaints of it raining in my living room!!! There is now a 2nd leak which I’ve reported and they have yet to address. At this point I’m just so glad to be out of here in January and I will not have to deal with that. The call center is full of people that do absolutely nothing for u besides take notes that don’t get followed up on. I will never rent from this company again.

    It’s not surprising to see so many cheated out of their security deposits. I’ve already had it set in my mind I would not receive it back based off of how I’ve been treated during this lease. Not surprised one bit.

    Still waiting on this repair. A leak from a bad pipe started 4/5. I unfortunately found out after walking into the water and slipping, hitting my head and bruising my hip. A call was placed immediately but we were told a plumber wasn't available until the following day 😳. So as expected, due to the water buildup in the ceiling, the ceiling collapses. When the plumber arrived he said there was nothing he could do . Basically, he wasn't being compensated enough to help us. The suggestion before he left us w/ a Lowes bucket and to turn off the water...... Really, ? So no water until the repair is made? It is now 4/7 and we haven't heard anything on his this repair will be resolved. We had a similar situation happen in another area of the house and the final repairs STILL haven't been completed. I'm to the point now where if the owner doesn't care, why should I. I take care of where I reside, although renting, as if I own it. I CARE but I think that goes unappreciated.

    Renting from RENU management has been such a wonderful experience so far. They have beautiful well taken care of properties. They constantly send out emails to find out how we are doing in our new home, and give tips on bettering our experience as tenants.     This company has no clue what's actually going on with the rental homes in Georgia. They have allowed my family to deal with sewage sitting in the home for 6 weeks while we had no other living arrangements. The home smelled of cat piss (as the previous owner had 17 cats living in it) and they did nothing for the smell. Every time someone would come to "fix" an issue, the vendors made the problem worse or left it looking ghetto. I was embarrassed for two years of the smells and condition of the home, that I would not have guests over. The foundation is failing the home, and the company left a 8 foot drop and two boards to the front door for my family to walk over to get into the home. So many issues and the nerve that this company is not only trying to keep our deposit but charge us $1235 more for damages that was already wrong with the home upon move in. Sticker flooring and painting over everything is about as fancy as this company is willing to treat their home. Btw, good luck trying to actually talk to anyone. TAKE PICTURES OF EVERY INCH OF HOME if you plan to use them. Then, plan to lawyer up I've you leave this horrible company.

    Will not be renewing my lease. Every work order is the most difficult thing in the world for these people to get scheduled. They want you to use the maintenance app, but completely disregard the information in it. You’ll then get a text about the order being scheduled for the wrong day and right time, then after taking time out of your day they schedule it to right day with wrong time.

    Finally after 5 interactions of taking calls from various people while they’re also calling my spouse first for everything, even though on the app I’ve clicked the box that says to contact me, they get the correct date and time scheduled.

    All for this to ultimately arrive 7 hours early. This is on top of a previous work order that they just abandoned and I eventually gave up on.
