I am extremely dissatisfied with the property management's handling of the heating situation in my unit. With the temperatures now plummeting into the negatives, the inadequate heat is not just uncomfortable—it's unacceptable.

Despite my continuous complaints, management is trying to convince me that receiving a $1,000 NIPSCO bill for just two months is normal, all while my unit is barely heating. There’s clearly a malfunction that they have known about for months, yet no action has been taken to rectify it.

When I attempt to address these issues directly, I face hostility. They will trespass you from the office if you seek accountability. Mary Ellen, in particular, has been unprofessional, yelling and mocking me when I raise my concerns. Meanwhile, Mike has not provided any credits for the outrageous NIPSCO bill I’ve received.

Furthermore, it took an astounding nine months to get my bathtub repaired, and that only happened after I had to involve the city.

Alfred (Al) Perez, the OWNER of these properties appears to be just as ineffective as the management team he has hired (Rose Real Estate) He continues to acquire new properties while neglecting the existing ones, indicating a serious lack of proper staffing and support.

I strongly urge potential renters to reconsider before choosing to move here. The combination of inadequate heating and the management’s lack of accountability and respect is truly concerning during such critical times.

Went to see an overpriced but ideal rental in Crown Point by a Mary Ellen and she told me that I was "the first person to see the place" and that she would let me know either way. Surprisingly it was taken off the listing before I could even apply for it. I did try negotiating the price [$1200 for a 500sq ft one bedroom, I think not!]. Ohh well, win some lose some. Glad I'm not in any rush to move. I'll keep looking for a larger place as I'm in a small studio, and I mean small lol. Who wouldn't want a 50yo single RN who works in Corrections and only a small, healthy, neutered
kitty for company as a renter I'm the ideal tenant looking for an ideal affordable one bedroom in Crown Point!! Happy Holidays, everyone!

If I could give zero stars I would. Pam is our Property Manager for our HOA. Does NOT respond in a timely fashion, fails to push fixes that need to be fixed per our HOA agreement, does NOT help out when bylaws and Covenants are broken. She says she will respond later that day, and never follows through with it. Horrible Horrible service from Pam. Would not recommend using this company, would change to our own board if I could.
