We went on 9/15/2024 and there is huge amounts of traffic. The parking lot is very dusty. No in and out privileges so we didn't bring enough water and had to pay $4 for a bottle of water. We ate a gross burrito that cost $14. Everything is a rip off especially in regards to food. Other than that my son had a good time. Personally we wouldn't go for adults. Good for children, he is 8yo. Most of the shows were subpar. We really liked the circus show that was the best. The pig racing show 90% was just having audience children petal a wagon with weights/ my son got bored. The horse show was the worst. They played the most obnoxious music in Spanish (which was too loud even with ear plugs) and only spoke Spanish. We have no idea what they were saying we are not Hispanic. All in all it's definitely expensive and we spent almost $200 for a 2 adults and 1 kid. Parking is $15, children rides $40, bad lunch around $20 per person. My son ate the rest of my burrito that I did not finish and some chips we had brought as a snack. I would reconsider going there again. My favorite exhibit was the bonsai one.

I attended UnScruz 2022 and it was a blast! the fairgrounds were a perfect place for this event. Easy to walk around, nice bathrooms, grassy areas. The event had lots of fun activities and people were dressed up and everyone had a good time!

Do not come!!!!!! Be careful!!!!!! Went with my family to the Santa Cruz county fair waited in traffic for about 1 hour. Got here found a good parking spot came back to a barricade put in front of my car with a $275 fine. Horrible!!!!!!!! Saw a staff member from the fairgrounds putting up the signs barley hanging flags and said they were here all day in a rude way. This is fraud/stealing from people. This felt like a set up and feel horrible I would never be in space were I don’t have the rite too park!!!! A lot of people got tickets and didn’t deserve them and I will post a picture I got from my neighbor fortunately he did take a picture before hand and no sign was there!!!!!!! Here is a picture of the staff member moving the signs!!!!!!

Lots of fun! Take cash with you because some food vendors take cash and charge more for card. The parking is cash or pre-paid. I love the pig races and I hope they always bring them back!
