I would give 0 stars if possible. These people are organized scammers, they will rent out a filthy and pest infested apartment and then have the audacity to say they did not know about the issue, despite having offered me cockroach bait in their leasing office. Lila is very unprofessional and pressured me to place a $2,000 deposit through Zelle. After realizing the bad situation I put myself in and having paid all the fees, almost $4,800. They asked me to bring the keys, the lease and clean out the apartment that I hadn’t even lived in for 1 day. Up until now I have not heard an update about my refund and they are being very sneaky. Be careful and stay away if you want to save yourself from a nightmare.

I have rented from Sauer properties for 5 years, the people at the management office are so awesome that I miss dropping by to drop off the rent check. It's wonderful having the option for auto pay for the rent, one less errand to run!
If there is ever any issues with the unit they send maintenance out right away without any hassle and give you a time frame to expect them to arrive. The maintenance guys have all been wonderful too!
They have nice little units that are a reasonable price/ decent value in this market.

If u really need somewhere to stay then yes if you can wait it off do so .. I’ve been here 2 half years and it’s been okay for the most part they will leave a 3 day notice on your door knowing you get a state check comes from the government that comes on the 3rd every month ,pot hole everywhere in the parking lot I had to replace two tires within two weeks. I called them and asked them. Can they reduce something off my rent and no answer. homeless people sleeping where u park your car at no management on site you basically have to fin for yourself.. looking to move soon good luck 👍🏽

Rented a unit with them and yes they’re a legitimate company and easy to work with for the most part. The issue is that their units are old and has a lot of pest issues. If not for the uncontrollable roach issues I'd stay with them.
When I first moved to 7026 Sepulveda it was fine at first. But then out of no where the roaches started..
and some of the neighbors just have no respect for noise, cleanliness etc.

I lived at one of Sauer Property Management buildings in Sun Valley for 3 years And I was very pleased, clean unit, no bugs at all. The entire office staff is extremely responsive and update your on everything, if any adjustments or fix is needed at the unit beat believe they will send a guy the same day, all handyman or worker sent to my unit were so professional and respectful. Thank you for caring for your tenants.
