I am very happy with my decision to switch to Shelter Insurance. My new agent Laura Sandlin was very professional and helpful with the transition. I had been with my previous insurer for 30 years so switching was not an easy decision and was a little nerve racking. Laura made it all very easy. Very good business people!! Only been with them a couple of months and noticed our payment wasn’t taken out from our bank. We called and Miss Laura was right on it seeing what went wrong. She listened to me and answered all my questions! We combined our homeowners and car insurance and saved money! The lady working with her is also very good. Took no time at all when we first set the account up! She too listened to me and took her time answering my questions!! So far so good 😉

I informed the insurance that my dad had a revoked license (elderly dementia issues) and was driving. The very next day, he's in an accident. The insurance company knows dad has a revoked license and pays for him to get a rental car. I then inform them that he is driving a rental on a revoked license. This is disappointing because he could kill himself or someone else. Beware
