On or around Nov 13 I talked with a lady named Jones. She was supposed to help me with a quote on some mobile home insurance once I sent her some correspondence I had with the former agent I never heard from her again. I have to emailed her daily. I need to be a pest about this because people like her shouldn’t be in the business and I want to expose them for their crap attitude. Bianca was amazing. She has superb customer service skills. I had state farm for auto and renters for years and Bianca was able to give me more coverage and at a fraction of the cost that State Farm was charging me. Ask for Bianca! Do buisness with Shepherd Insurance.

I will be sending a formal complaint, but if you value customer service when seeking an insurance company, keep looking. I wasted time and gas going here only to be told by the receptionist I'll take your name and number for someone to call you back because we close in 5 minutes... Instead of servicing a potential returning client she gave excuses of why I had not received a call back in the first place from the before I went to the office.

I called this business on Monday Jan. 27th and ask for Skip Oliver being referred by my sister. A gentleman came to phone, I believe his name is Sam, said he helps Mr. Oliver gather the info. I spent a considerable amount of time speaking with him so he could give me a quote. Called back on Thursday for Ship Oliver was told he was I believe in Carmi. Called on Friday the 31st ask again to speak with Skip Oliver and the receptionist came about and said Skip Oliver is not excepting any new clients but Sam was working on my quote. I said that is not what I was told on the 27th. I now know why this company only has a 3 star rating, which I failed to check. I have been a past business owner for over 16 years and if I treated my customers this way I wouldn’t of lasted a year. I wouldn’t recommend Skip Oliver or this company Sheppard Insurance.

Never ever go back to this insurance company i was with them for like 4 years then i left them for better price and then i called them to see if they can give me better price or not and so then i called them and they were so rude and asking question why i left them so i told for better price and they were like oh then i dont know if we can give you insurance and then also i had a loss 2 years ago they said ohh we dont take any policy if they had loss so basically if you have insurance with them and if you have claim they will kick you out of insurance
