I rented from smp properties for over a yr. Moving is a stressful time for everyone and Devin made it so easy. Anytime there was a maintenance issue it was handled quickly. Def recommend them to anyone!

I've been with SMP Properties for 11 years now. Any problems I've ever had they were quick to respond and solve the situation. Ms Devin is very nice and will answer any questions. The new Maintenance guy is very nice and well rounded with his trade. I'm not moving anytime soon. Me and my family love our home.

I have had a great experience rent from SMP Properties . The staff was very friendly, understanding, and care repairs was done in timely manner, if I had to rent again I would definitely come back to SMP Properties. I especially loved working with Mrs.Devin Sellers she is the best realtor that I have ever worked with, she is a very caring, loving, and understanding realtor when doing business with Mrs.Devin you don’t just feel like you dealing with a realtor, she makes you feel like your dealing with a friend. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Bryan Maisel & Associates aka SMP Properties!
I can not speak for their qualifications they might be good realtors, they may be not. I don't know. My issue is that earlier today I checked out 2 keys with a $20 deposit. They made a copy of my drivers license and they held my credit card, to look at two properties that I was interested in. I was LESS then one hour late on the agreed time to return the keys. When I got to the office I was met by the Mobile police department with lights flashing. SMP Properties called the police because I was LESS then an HOUR late, we all know how Mobile rush hour traffic can be. Because I was LESS then an hour late in returning the keys, the property management had assumed that I was going to their property and STEALING appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dish washer machines, etc... appliances. They even went with the police to make sure that nothing was stolen. It was more then insulting and offensive it was shameful that they would do such a thing. How insulting! I apologized for being LESS then an hour late but the whole calling the police on me about it was drastic and overkill, especially since they had my drivers license, my Visa card and $20 for the key deposit. I am more then upset and angry. This situation on their part could had been handled very differently. I will certainly NOT be using them to find a home to buy nor will I ever recommend them. The staff and management were rude, insulting and disrespectful. It says a lot when the only one on your side is the actual police. If they are like this when you are looking for a place to buy or rent you can only imagine how they are once you are their client?!

I rented from them for 2years they don't like fixing anything they maintenance have attitude he lost his phone and blame my child first of all u shouldn't be on your phone while working anyway when I move they completely lied saying I stole they refrigerator when it broke and I bought my own so of course it's mines they don't like fixing nothing I will not recommend no one to rent from them at all they are not good landlord at all
