Stephen has been a pleasure to work with! I was originally going to have Steinbeck Realty manage renting out our property but we ultimately decided on having them sell it. He assisted us with getting the home ready for sale and made everything effortless. We received multiple offers the first weekend we listed and our home sold quick. Steinbeck Realty went above and beyond my expectations in managing my rental property in Salinas - I can’t recommend them enough! Before I met with Stephen Hernandez I was very hesitant about entrusting my property to a property management company. I had heard numerous horror stories from other homeowners, and this being my childhood home, I needed someone I could trust. Stephen immediately struck me as professional, attentive, and downright caring from our very first conversation. I immediately felt assurance from his thorough knowledge of the rental housing market, and everything that it entails for both homeowners and prospective renters. My confidence and trust grew throughout the weeks leading up to the rental of my home. While I was confident that Steinbeck Realty would deftly handle all aspects of leasing my property once a renter was secured, it was everything he helped with BEFORE I even moved out of my home that was truly extraordinary! I can’t thank Stephen enough for helping me to navigate the difficult process of clearing out my house and getting it rental-ready. He orchestrated repairs and cleaning with their highly capable handymen and cleaning people, referred me to excellent contractors for additional services, helped with ordering materials, and even went to my house to receive delivery of a new stove while I was away in LA preparing for my move from Salinas. Who does that these days?! That’s what I really meant by going above and beyond expectations (and believe me, for brevity-sake, I’m leaving out the dozens of maddening details Stephen also helped to iron out). He had already lined up excellent tenants that were already renting from Steinbeck Realty with a spotless rental history going back three years, so both homeowner and tenants are extremely satisfied with the final outcome. This review is a long time coming. I cannot say or share enough about the professional staff at Steinbeck Realty who assisted me in the selling of my mother’s property after her passing and the selling of my own home in Salinas as I have relocated to Roseville, Ca.
Steven is one of a kind, trustworthy, honest, VERY professional, who assisted me in every step of the way. Other Real Estate offices can/should take a page from Steinbeck Realty on how to run a Real Estate office and how to meet the Real Estate needs of their clients. Steinbeck Realty is definitely a 5+ star Real Estate Office whom I highly recommend for everyone in search of a Real Estate Company.

Steinbeck Realty managed our family's 8 unit apartment builds for many years. The company does an outstanding job in both property management and real property sales. I worked directly with Tammy & Stephen Hernandez. They are both excellent communicators and know how to get their jobs done. Over the years, we did major improvements to the property and Stephen handled all the arrangements for us. He found contractors, provided bids and supervised the completion of the projects. Tammy is an outstanding office manager and bookkeeper. She is always available to answer questions. Her monthly statements are detailed and easy to understand. We recently decided to sell our property and Stephen did an excellent job handling the sale for us. I highly recommend Steinbeck Realty. It has been a pleasure to work with them.
