Marisa Brito is awesome. She is very knowledgeable, very professional, will call you back when she says - good follow up. Marisa helped me with regular health insurance last year (had to have a PPO so I could access my cancer surgeon at UCSF) and I just turned 65 this month and am starting Medicare and she helped with everything. From signing up for part A, part B & Medicare Supplement G Extra and getting a prescription plan. I typically write one only if the experience is so extraordinarily bad or good, that it would be irresponsible NOT to write one. This is one such occasion. Summit Independent Insurance Services, Tim Coughlin and Jessica Purdum in particular, are so extraordinary at what they do, that they warrant recognition for anyone shopping around for the services they offer. Both show a level of attention to detail, thoroughness, and overall professionalism that, in today’s world, is nothing short of a "unicorn-like."

In an age where consumers are treated like meta data and bounced around interminably in phone trees, this is one of those boutique-sized operations, where you can still get that personal touch. No foreign call centers where representatives are well meaning, but whose command of the language make interactions often torturous or a call centers in the United States that are frequently staffed by seasonal personnel that is poorly trained at best and inept at worst… Summit is a STAND-OUT operation and amazing to be deal with.

I do not think it’s an exaggeration to say they are probably the best insurance brokerage company I’ve ever worked with in my life. They give a new meaning to old world customer service in a modern world that thinks that is a mere urban legend.
