Working with Mr. Elias Romero was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. As a first-time homebuyer utilizing the amazing VA LOAN benefit, I had so many questions and concerns (I was very nervous to even approach a real estate lender), but Elias Romero was incredibly patient, professional, and well-knowledgeable, guiding me through every single step of the process with ease and respect.

I first contact him when I was in a temporary travel in the state of Kentucky as part of a military training school, I was given orders to Yuma, AZ and I did not know what to do. Before I reached out to Mr. Romero, I ended up getting in touch with 3 different lenders (Veterans United included) and unfortunately my experience with them was not the best, I did not feel treated with dignity and no formality of any kind coming from them.

When I looked into a local lender in Yuma, I found "Sunny State Mortgage" and right away I sent an inquiry email. In less than 5 minutes Mr. Romero contacted me through my personal cellphone and started the whole process immediately. Throughout the application process Mr. Romero showed interest and enthusiasm, helping me out with questions and the tedious paperwork that comes included with the buying process.
Every single day he follow up with me and my wife, he scheduled multiple zoom meetings with both of us, shared his screen and explained step-by-step what the rates were and all the options for different homes available. Even though we were in different time zones Mr. Romero was always available (up to 10 pm).
At the very we ended up buying a brand new home that was just perfect for my family.
