Great experience for a weekend get-away. Friendly service with willingness to please the guest. Nice walking location for the entire downtown and lake front area.
Town is friendly and clean with beautiful vistas of the lake. Lake is pristine and great for swimming & boating. Five stars experience! we'll be back again!

We stayed very briefly at the Culver Cottage - arrived late and left for a breakfast with friends, so we did not experience the breakfast at all. The room and bath were clean and nicely decorated, and we saw coffee and breakfast items available.||The hostess was very kind, waiting up for us when we experienced travel delays ||The bed mattress was comfortable and the shower very nice. The only reason this is not a five star review is that there was the blankets were not very warm.. It is possible we could have requested more blankets but it was very late, so we just put our coats on the bed. Overall, though, I would recommend the Culver Cottage as a nice place to stay

The Main Street Manor is a comfortable small B&B in downtown Culver across the street from two excellent restaurants and near a CVS. The property is neat and clean and well maintained. The rooms are nicely furnished and the bathrooms thoroughly modernized. The owner and staff were friendly and courteous.||||Why 4 stars instead of 5? The breakfast was minimal at best. Cold cereal, some fruit and some bread and english muffins that could be toasted. Really just the bare bones of a continental breakfast and not enough to avoid having to go out for breakfast.

My husband and I had a perfect overnight stay at Culver Cottage and highly recommend it. While our room's walls had some small patches in prep of being repainted, we found it spacious, charmingly decorated and very clean. The queen bed and pillows were comfy. We had a nice flatscreen TV and excellent Wifi service. The whole building seemed to be very well maintained. Katie the innkeeper was delightful and helpful, answering our questions as we settled in and the next morning. Breakfast was fresh bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and juice.

We have stayed at more B&B's than we could count, and think they are great almost without exception, but this place had lots of negatives. It begins with signs all over the place that, believe it or not, threaten to fine you for things like getting makeup on the towels and wash cloths and checking out late. I realize checking out late has to be controlled, but the sign says come to the desk so they can charge you more. The mattress was the hardest we have ever encountered and the pillows were lumpy. They was too little bedding to keep warm (an old, thin comforter). It was dusty (cobwebs in a corner with insects included) and just didn't feel very clean. This, and other things (like a patio with a bucket of stagnant water and tools and wood lying around looking like they had been there a long time, gave the feeling of having proprietors who don't care enough. There was a bathroom near the check in desk, but it was filthy with no toilet paper and dirty wash rags on the floor and in the sink and just small bits of old soap. Perhaps this could have been offset by a killer breakfast, but the breakfast was a pot of coffee and a few bagels. We agree the location is good, because there is a place a half block away to get a decent breakfast! The room was well over $200. If seemed worth about $99.

We have four young children and can be a lot for any B&B to handle! Our stay was great, our kids were loud, but the staff were very accomodating! Breakfast was the right combination of fresh fruit, bagels, cereal, dairy, eggs and coffee. I'm not sure what others expect, but for us - it was spot on. ||||I sustained an injury years ago in Iraq and have needed physical therapy to recover. The best part of my weekend was the deep massage. Although many practitioners have worked on my neck & back, I found the most relief ever with their massage. Very thorough, deep and extensive pain relief. ||||Well done!

Every time we come to Culver we stay here...it's a great bed & breakfast! The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. They have coffee & cereal,muffins etc ready for you every morning. This B & B is in an excellent location & walking distance to beach, restaurants & bars....we definitely will be back next year! Thanks Dave & Sue 🙂

While the facility is quite nice, the owners make this a "Don't Stay Here" rating. The breakfast is just a bagel. While the owner said he had some cold cereal, he also said he was out of milk. He and his wife both complained in front of me about various issues. The make up of the room (when it was done at all) was limited to partially making the bed and putting the used towels on a hook. Trash was not removed from the room. In the last 30 years or so, I have stayed in close to 100 B&Bs and this is close to the worst!
