The receptionist that took my call was great, however they are very hard to get in touch with even if you leave voicemails. The practice manager is not friendly at all and basically referred me to another practice because I had questions and was not given the correct information… or any information for that matter. I did not read the reviews before I reached out but now that I am looking through the reviews I see the customer service is not the greatest. I wish I was able to get an experience from the doctors but unfortunately the customer service experience I received I decided to go with the practice that she referred me to.

I’m giving a 2, not because of the doctors which I’m sure are great but rather the staff that handles the appointments. They received my referral at the end of September and it was just on and off communication from there. I tried calling several times and could never get through. I ended up just switching my referral to someone else. I received a text today that said “Are you still wanting an appointment with us? Yes or no” Yikes. Not sure it’s worth the headache.

Dr. Engen is professional, caring, knowledgeable, and kind. He listens to his patients and invest his time in helping them. He is an excellent expert and epitomizes what a great mental health specialist should be.

As other people have mentioned, the cusomer service and responce team is awful. As soon as the team surrounding realized they aren't getting paid 2k out of pocket, they ghosted me and stopped returning my calls and answering my questions.
They even lied to a family member that called them, to tell them they'd responded to me.
Do not trust these people with your well-being.
How well they treat you is entirely dependent on how much you're going to be paying.

Less than 30 minutes later after leaving this review, they reached out to me, about the review.
Not about me, not to solve the issue, they started the call with saying "we saw your review."
This is not a way you treat a customer.
Please, for your sake, or whoever you're getting therapy for:
Find someone else. Do not trust this practice.

I don't think Dr Engen is at fault, he was a lovely person when i met him. His staff, and the way they treat people is not ok. Especially for someone seeking therapy.

After moving to Brunswick several months ago and previously being under a great Physchologists care I was looking forward to finding one here in Brunswick. I placed two phone calls and left very detailed information about myself and all my contact information on there answering machine. That was over two weeks ago, and still as of today I have yet to get any response from this office. I am not sure how good they are or how good there are not, but if never receiving a return call shows there idea of follow up or concern for a possible new client/patient then I certainly would be looking elsewhere and that includes yours truly.

Dr. Engen was very easy to talk to and listened carefully to what we had to say. He was thorough and knowledgeable and made us feel validated in our concerns for our child. Dr. Engen helped us get the right answers and understand what we could do to properly support our child's needs! Would 100% recommend him to everyone who is concerned they or their child is neurodivergent!
