Have been with Hanover for years. Their rates have skyrocketed. Then we get a letter that they are dropping us for a couple of tickets in 3 years! Underwriter Danielle Mann is utterly horrible at her job. She made it a point to not only send a snotty letter about dropping us, after we had paid for the full year, she then sends another letter about the possibility of our Homeowners being dropped. Zero claims. Higher deductibles with lower coverage. Absolute thieves!

Worst claims adjuster ever! She is unresponsive no matter how many times we call or email to get a status update on our claim. She has made a bad situation into a terrible one due to her lack of support as our claims adjuster.

I have had a claim for 7 months with this company because I was rearended by one of their customers. The agent Christopher Thomas does not respond, and closed my claim. Stated it was a complicated accident. Yes multiple cars, I was rear ended and hit no one. It’s been 7 months of them dodging me. Absolutely disgusting and not okay.

Home owners claim from a power surge, took 2 weeks to get any contact from Hanover or action on their part. Then the claim they tried to pay out wasn’t for our appliances! That still isn’t straightened out we still don’t have any resolution. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen.

Horrible horrible horrible. I do not use Hanover for auto insurance. However I am currently trying to go through them to get my vehicle fixed since one of their members hit me. A month after the accident, I have no idea where my car is. It was supposed to be towed to penske for an estimate but it never made it there. As I am writing this I have been on the phone for 40 minutes, mostly on hold, waiting to see what they have to say about this. I am pretty sure they are just waiting for me to hang up. Incredibly incompetent people. Hanover is going to end up owing me a car if they can't figure out where mine is 🤷‍♀️

Worst claim experience I have ever had on just a glass claim. Took over a month to get windshield replaced. Representatives are either poorly trained or incompetent. I can’t imagine how poor the service would be on a major claim. Will be changing insurance
