I was retiring from the Army and moving from the east coast to Laramie, and given the housing market here in Laramie...things were very touch and go. I had gotten pre-approved for a home loan through Bank of America, but was referred to Karen by my realtor for a competitive rate. Karen was able to lock in an incredible rate for me, and the whole team at the Mortgage Source worked fast to help me submit my offer and get to closing. I had already been beat out by a cash offer once, so it was their professionalism and competence that helped me get into my home! I can't recommend them enough...they know the local market, but can easily compete with the big national banks/lenders!

I originally met with Karen when I was not at all in a position to buy a house. She was incredibly helpful, supportive, and clear. A few years later when I was ready they made the process so easy and I felt like they really had my back. Love love love Karen and her wonderful team! They were so incredibly helpful with my first home purchase. Closing was easy. I had lots of questions and they answered every single one. Highly recommend this business for first time home buys who aren't quite sure on all the steps. Karen walked through all of the mortgage options with me and sent me all of the information for me to review. I never felt pushed to make a decision either. What a wonderful team. We just closed on our house in Laramie after a strange ordeal. Or realtor suggested we work with Karen and we wanted to have a local place that we could work with. From day 1 when we went in and started this process it was easy! Karen explained everything from pre-approval to the end. She was helpful, thorough, detailed and her team was so easy to work with during this process. Everything was easy to do and understand. Our first house experience was nothing like this one, working with the Mortgage Source was so much easier and less complicated. Not only did they work hard for us, they were always friendly, easy to get a hold of, wonderful to work with, their office is easy to find and they always have coffee! 🙂 The best part was when it came to signing we got an even better rate than we thought, with super duper low closing costs, way less than we originally anticipated, which was the cherry on top! We will be working with them again-hands down. We would recommend that everyone looking at buying a house start with Karen and the amazing team at The Mortgage Source!!!!
