Many previous lenders just referred me to their application. Tim took the time to discuss our credit in detail and get an idea of numbers we were comfortable with. He reviewed these number with us in detail during pre-approval. Then he gave us regular updates during the entire homebuying/closing process. He even had a meeting with me to ensure I knew exactly what final numbers were and double check everything before I sent funds to the title company! (As a first time homebuyer, this step was very intimidating so I appreciated the extra hand holding.) He communicated with us in an extremely timely manner, even doing follow up calls with us outside of business hours after finding a house we wanted during a weekend open house.
