To me, it is still quite amazing that we were even able to afford our own home. Due to not having the best credit and not making a whole lot of money I never ever ever thought that we would be able to own our own home. Timberline made it happen. We accompanied my young son and his fiancé as they were barely out of their teens and we wanted to make sure they were not taken advantage of. Turns out we had no cause to fret. All they received from the team was care and concern with plenty of helpful information on selecting, customizing and financing. Now we just await the arrival of their new homestead and our first grandchild.

From the moment we walked onto the lot we were welcome and upon entering the office we were greeted warmly. The sales staff were very friendly and open to questions and curiosity. we were given a site map and asked about what we were looking for and once we gave them a baseline they pointed out which ones on the site map would most likely fit our needs and told us to go look and get an idea more of what we were looking at and for. we did this not quite used to absence of a sales person at first it was ok do they not care but you quickly realize that they were giving you space to look and develop your own opinion. so once we looked and narrowed the selections down we returned to the office. the staff asked questions to see what we liked what we did not like to help us refine our search even more. what started out the day as more than 10 selections by the end of the day we had narrowed the selection to 3 and went home to ponder on what we liked, needed, wanted and could do with out or what was a must have. and sadly the selections were so awesome that it was a very hard decision to finally put down to one home to attempt to make our own... we returned the next day and again the sales staff were awesome and we have started the process to make a new home from the wonderful people at Timberline and we thank them for every thing they have done so far and look very much forward to receiving a key to the front door of our new home. again this has been one of the best sales person based experiences I ha e felt with in my life at this point in time and glad we did not pass them by for a big box manufacturer type lot.

The sales person we spoke with seemed to be very eager to sell us a home, even when we described our situation and explained that we mostly were gathering information and wanted to look around until we were comfortable moving forward. After talking to other sellers, it became obvious that all of the dealers in the area compete heavily with each other and these guys were very quick to discredit the others with numerous reasons as to why we should only buy from them. Research so you know what questions to ask. If you only want to browse the homes on the lot, don't go in the office.
