My first experience with owning a home, Allstate has no problem taking my money. We had hail damage to our roof in March 2023 when Allstate came out and said there wasn't enough damage for replacement. We had them come out again after I made the point that every other surrounding home got full roof replacement, they sent someone out again this time our roof was miraculously damaged enough for full roof replacement too. 3 months later high winds caused a large branch to fall on our back fence, on a parts truck, and into our pool. Allstate said that I needed auto insurance on the truck for them to cover it even though it was not operational( which to me was a grey area) but they covered the fence and the clean up. Because of these two instances being close together Allstate called me today 3-12-24 and told me they were not renewing my coverage and my coverage would end 3-20-24. Sorry for the bad grammar but I'm irritated with a company that has no problem taking my money as long as there's not a problem, but when you use them for the service they are paid to provide they back out.

I got a "quote" in my mailbox that Mr. Doud could offer me homeowners insurance for $407/year. That was a great rate, so I contacted them. When I got my actual quote, it was $2947.64/year. I get that the initial quote they sent might not be spot on, but $2547.64 high, in other words 737% higher is laughable. I wouldn't waste my time. My current rate is is over $1300 cheaper.

I have been with them since the mid 90s and they have always done my right. Very friendly staff and leadership. Always looking for the best value and interests in their clients. Would not ever change my insurance company. Love Tim and Sandy there.

Was planning to get a quote based on that same letter, telling me $407. Looks like it is a classic bait and switch technique to get you in his office. Won't be making that phone call now. Wish the letters were more accurate. Thanks to the previous review, hopefully others see this and don't waste their time.

Must say that I have dealt with them in the past and because I knew of their good services, a few months ago when I left their competitor in my neighborhood, I went back to them because the treat me with what I was looking for from a insurance provider. The only problem is that they don't do businesses such as a manufacturing company.

Had my second encounter with a deer in last year and half. Received immediate response after filing claim on line. Within 2 days I had initial estimate and money for repairs as found on photos summited of vehicle damage. The body shop we are using will notify Allstate if further damage is found underneath what damage already exists. I will be notified and Allstate will be working directly with the shop. Saves me a lot of hassle .

I had to work with many homeowners affected by the hail storm and ninety percent of the clients did not approve their roof
all other insurance companies were approving the gutters and siding roofs affected unless they do not recommend them
this happened in the city of Goshen Indiana usa
