Beware of Hidden Fees and Poor Communication

We had a deeply disappointing experience with this company. Initially, we were quoted a specific price for our exchange, but when it came time to pay, we received an invoice that was three times the quoted amount—without any prior communication regarding a change in exchange rate. We were also delayed in closing due to the team not communicating out of office dates.

Additionally, midway through the process, our case was transferred to a new team member without any notice. Despite months of follow-ups, Brandon and his team only offered a minimal concession, leaving us thousands of dollars out of pocket. Worse yet, Brandon failed to communicate directly with us despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue.

With so many options available for executing a 1031 exchange, I strongly advise against using this company. Transparency and reliability are crucial in these transactions, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

My wife and I were referred for Vanguard’s 1031 services and decided to use them to facilitate an exchange. Long story short, Brandon and his staff are amazing!! Incredible old school customer service that I have not seen for many years. (remember back in the day when people cared about the clients). They took their time and made sure we walked through every question I had… which gave us the complete confidence and knowledge that we were in the right place with a company that not only knows their business but sincerely cares about the clients.I would HIGHLY recommend their services, quite simply an outstanding company!!!!!!!!

I was completely unfamiliar with the 1031 exchange process and after calling around, I was a little skeptical with the low cost that Vanguard 1031 was charging but I read a lot of positive reviews and decided to move forward. I am not easily pleased, but I was with this company! Their responses were immediate and always thorough. They would always outline the next steps they worked directly with my lender and closing company, which made the process so much easier for me. they earned 5 stars!!
