Coming from my last rental home with Mainstreet Renewal, Vision Reality has been a breath of fresh air. They have been so accommodating and efficient. You can actually call and speak to someone who really is concerned and addresses any questions or concerns. Tashna has been available since day 1 and she even calls just to say hi and check in on things. I couldn't be more happy with Vision Reality. They are not just another management company, they make you feel like family even the technicians are timely and friendly.

From the beginning, she made the entire rental process seamless and has continued to be incredibly responsive to any concerns I’ve had. Where do I even begin? This is cliché but if I could give no stars, I would. For starters, the office staff is all rude. Especially Kim. I don’t know her last name but she was never pleasant any of the times I had to interact with her. My problems started before I ever signed the lease. It was like pulling teeth to get my name listed on the lease and then when they finally did put my name on it, they listed me under tenant children. I’m 30 years old. I had to have them revise the lease multiple times before I could even sign it.

Outside of that, this company is AWFUL about getting things fixed. My roommate, her child, myself and our pets were without water on multiple occasions for extended periods of time. There was never once when we didn’t wait AT LEAST a week before having our water fixed. Come to find out, the well pump wasn’t working properly because they had a cheap pump installed that was entirely too small to be providing water to a three bedroom home. Once we realized that was the issue, they sent out a meth head repairman to “fix” it but all he did was make a giant mess of it that had to be rebuilt by an actual well technician some months later. On top of that, the repairman they sent out had previously displayed inappropriate behavior toward my female roommate and we had requested he not be sent out anymore. They sent him anyway, on multiple occasions. When all was said and done, we were probably without water for a cumulative time of about two to three months. We had many other maintenance issues during our time there, but in comparison to the water issue, they’re not even worth mentioning here.

Lastly, near the end of my lease, the situation in my home became unsafe for me due to the behaviors of the person I was living with. It got so bad that I ended up having to leave the property in order to protect myself. I explained all this to the people in the Vision office and offered to buy myself out of the lease so that my credit and rental history didn’t take a huge hit. They had absolutely no sympathy for me. I understand that this is a business, but when you’re dealing with things like people’s housing situations, maybe it wouldn’t hurt to show some humanity once in a while. Instead, my credit and rental history are going to be majorly impacted.

If I can give anyone any advice about this company, it would be to ABSOLUTELY NOT deal with them in any capacity because all they care about is their bottom line, and they do not mind screwing people over.

Terrible to work with. We have been renting an apartment for a year, and every problem we have had has not been fixed. They say they will bring someone out and no one will come. We have had to come out of our own pocket to fix things. They WILL not contact back. I have called and emailed over and over. I keep being told I will get a call back or an email back. Nothing whatsoever. Terrible to work with. Do not rent from them

Update: we have now moved out and they tried to charge us for the damage that was never fixed. The leak damage, and sinking in ceiling from the leak, the paint chipping from water damage, all of it they tried to charge us for. When it was their problem to fix. Also they told us that in order to break the lease we’d have to pay rent for each month left upfront. So we decided to stick it out a little longer in the smell and damage of the leak. Then when there was one month left they said “oh this whole time you could have just paid a small fee to break the lease and get out” and I had to report them to housing authorities for never ever ever reaching back out to me and my husband when we lived there. Hope this helps and people for the future.

Kimberly Blair is amazing. Definitely a much-needed addition to the Vision Realty team. Her honesty, willingness to help and get-it-done mentality is unmatched. She's most definitely a people person, filled with excellent customer service 🙂

I submitted a MELD about half of this kitchen light going out, my dishwasher NOT WORKING since i moved in, the house wasnt clean, refurbished or anything that I was told by HEATHER OWENBY. SHE IS A COMPLETE LIAR AND SCAM ARTIST!!!! I never saw her again or was able to speak with her after she promised everything would be ready by the move in date!!!! No one ever came back to finish!!!! BUT AS SOON AS YOU START SUBMITTING MAINTENANCE REQUEST THEY ILLEGALLY TERMINATE YOUR LEASE THEN TRY TO TELL YOU THAT THE OWNER WANTS TO SELL AND YOU DIDNT RENEW YOUR LEASE!!!! Wen you tell them that you have they block you from logging into the tenant portal to show them. I submitted my request for the kitchen lights last month. They WAITED UNTIL I PAID THIS MONTHS RENT TO TELL ME I HAD 60 days to move!!! THEN PROCEEDED TO NOT FIX ANYTHING THAT I SUBMITTED!!! SO NOW I AM COOKING WITH A LAMP ON THIS GOOD SUNDAY!!!
