After getting some information from me, he very nicely explained that he doesn’t usually work with my personal situation, but still offered to give me some advice on what I could do moving forward. He was very professional, and gave me some great advice on my steps moving forward. I will still be looking for an advisor that fits my personal situation but Alec was fantastic and went out of his way to provide me with helpful guidance on my situation when he didn’t have to. Student Loans:
I’m a first-generation licensed California attorney. And guess what? I have what can amount to a home mortgage worth of student loans. There was no planning for my future. Frankly, the idea of being a licensed attorney was unthinkable. But thanks to my parent's work ethic and example, I learned that hard work pays off. It’s not easy, but it will surely pay off.

After being jerked around by a previous advisor who made all recommendations that benefited him, I was at my wits end. Though his resume and client base looked all glamorous, he could give a rats about his clients. Our accounts made very little gains and basically went nowhere.

And then we found Alec Tuckman. His resume is better than glamorous. It's the kind of experience that makes you feel like he's financial royalty and yet he never acts like it! He was with a different firm back then. We followed him when he started Wealth Management Partners. He has been our financial advisor for 6 years now. With him, we always feel so supported and grateful to have found him. There are never any conflicts of interest in what he recommends.

Even when we aren't putting money into our retirement accounts (we've had to pause for financial reasons due to other self directed investment projects or getting in over our heads a few times), he is still available to have meetings and help with whatever we want to figure out, including changing our strategy depending on how much risk we want to take on at the time.
